Victim reported that she put her ring in her dresser. The ring was missing a believed to be stolen. The caretaker is the only person, that would have had access to the ring.

Arrested: Joseph Chavez DOB: 3/29/89 Charges: Aggravated Burglary, Battery Upon a Household Member

The defendant then broke into the victim’s home by forcefully kicking in the front door. The Defendant was in a physical fight with his girlfriend. The defendant struck his girlfriend in the of the head with a closed fist, several times. The defendant was arrested and taken to the Detention Center, without incident.

Location:  residence off of Sunset Canyon Lane, Santa Fe, NM (Turquoise Trail Subdivision)

On 10/27/10 victim stated that when he went home for lunch at about 1145 hours he went into his residence and found a male subject inside.  Victim stated that the male subject was about 6 ft. in height, slim build, with a moustache and goatee.  Victim stated that the suspect was wearing a white in color hoodie and brown pants.  Victim stated that he wrestled with the suspect for a bit and the suspect then got away.  Victim stated that he noticed that his wife's jewelry was taken and also a Nintendo DS3.  Estimated value of the items taken is about $10,200.00.  Victim stated that he also noticed that his screen to his kitchen window had been cut.  Deputies did not locate the suspect.

Location: Lugar de Padilla- Agua Fria

On 10-16-10 the homeowner reported that sometime between 10-25-10 at 1815-hours and 10-26-10 at 0700-hours, an unknown person had broken a window to his residence and gained entry. The reporting party  stated that the residence had been rummaged through but it did not appear anything was taken. The window was broken with cement brick.  Suspect information is pending at this time.

Location: Paseo Segundo- Old Las Vegas Highway

On 10-26-10 the homeowner reported that sometime between 10-25-10 at 1130-hours and 10-26-10 at 0600-hours, an unknown person(s)  pryed open the garage entry door.  The reporting party stated that it did not appear that anything was taken. An attempt to obtain latent prints was done without success. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Stolen: 2 chain saws, generator, air compressor, assorted wood working power tools

Victim reported on this date that sometime between 11:00am and 3:00pm some unknown person entered his property and stole the above listed tools from inside a storage tent that had not been fully built.
The items stolen were valued at about $3390.00

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic, Probation Violation

On October25, 2010 at 11:35 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.  The suspect was also found to be on Supervised Probation and an Arrest Order was obtained from the Probation and Parole Division.

Victim reported that unknown persons broke into his vehicle. The burglars stole the above stereo. There is no other information available.

Arrested: Jacob Gomez DOB: 11/25/85 Charges: Bringing Contraband Into A Place of Imprisonment and Tampering With Evidence

The Jail officers located a syringe that was taken into the jail. The above detention center located the syringe, as the male tried to flush it in a toilet, after being caught with it.
