On 7-19-2010 person(s) unknown unlawfully entered a residence at the location which was unsecure. Once entry was gained person(s) unknown removed two laptop computers. Person(s) unknown transferred one of the laptops to the suspect in exchange for property that he had sold them.

Deputies responded to a medical call regarding a 76 yr old male unconcious and not breathing. Upon arrival Medical personnel were unable to revive the male who had been suffering from lung cancer. Case is under investigation and no foul play is suspected.

On 7-18-2010 at (;45 PM Santa Fe County Fire Department responded to a report of an unresponsive femal. Upon their arrival CPR was being conducted. EMS personnel administered Advanced Live Support measures to no avail. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no signs of foul play.

On 7-18-2010 at 8:28 PM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location. The altercation turned physical when the suspect armed herself with a .357 caliber revolver. The victim locked himself in an office and the suspect discharged two rounds from the revolver into and through the office door. The victim was not injured as a result of this incident. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor at the timed of the incident.

On 7/18/10 between 1730 and 1830 hours some unknown persons broke the driver front door window to their 2003 white Honda and stole a pink wallet which had 3 credit cards and 2 ID's. Unknown persons also took a cell phone. Estimated value of items taken is about $110.00. Estimated damage amount is pending.

Victim reported that on July 14, 2010 she had hired a house sitter to watch her residence. She was contacted by the house sitter and advised that she had invited some friends to the residence and later discovered some property missing. Victim advised that she delayed contacting law enforcement in hopes the house sitters friends would return the stolen property. Taken were two I-Pods, $100.00 cash and two gift cards totaling an estimated value of $600.00.
