On 3-13-2010 at 10:08 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location when he was stopped for speeding. A check with the New Mexico Crime Information Center revealed that there was an active Arrest Warrant for the suspect issued by the Rio Arriba County Magistrate Court.

On the above date the victim and suspect got in to an arguement over a female calling the victim on his cell phone. After arguing for a while the suspect battered the victim and was placed under arrest when deputies arrived on scene.

On 3-12-2010 at 12:26 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and failed to observe another vehicle which had stopped at the location for a red traffic control signal. As a result the suspect's vehicle struck the other vehicle. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater. A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's New Mexico driver's license is suspended. A check with the New Mexico Crime Information Center revealed that there was an active Arrest Warrant for the suspect issued by the Rio Arriba County Magistrate Court.
