Jason Vasey was involved in a non-injury motor vehicle crash on Hwy 14 in the town of Madrid. He was found to be impaired and driving on a Revoked License for a prior DWI conviction. He was arrested for Aggravated DWI with a BAC of .16 or greater and booked into the SF Co. Jail. His vehicle was seized pursuant to the Santa Fe County DWI Seizure Ordinance.

Victim was found dead in his residence at 6:30 AM this date by his spouse. Victim was released from the hospital yesterday after being treated for emphysema and cancer. No suspicious circumstances and case is still under investigation.

On 7-3-2010 at 11:37 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location. The suspect was stopped at a DWI Check Point. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test. There were three open cans of Budweiser beer located in the vehicle.
