Suspect:  hispanic male 23-26 years of age, wearing sweatpants and black sweatshirt

On 12/7/09 unknown suspect entered establishment and proceeded to look around.  Suspect then exited establishment through side door.  Suspect re-entered and brandished a knife.  Suspect ordered victim to open the cash register.  Victim refused and grabbed cell phone to call 911.  Suspect ran out of the store with a six pack of Coors Light tall cans and left the area in a grey 4 door vehicle.  Estimated value of beer is $8.00.  Suspect was not located.


Case #:  0209010568/ Robbery, Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/ Date:  12/07/09

Location:  Agua Fria and Jemez Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  14 year old male, 5'4" to 5'6", thin build wearing blue hoodie, jeans and white tennis shoes

Victim reported that today at 1645 hours after being dropped off the school bus at the above location an unidentified male approached him asking him if he smoked.  Victim replied no and the suspect then asked what he had in his pocket.  Victim pulled out a cell phone and supsect grabbed it and fled south on Jemez Road.  Victim gave chase and suspect stopped and pulled out a knife and told victim to back off.  Victim complied and suspect fled on foot.  Estimated value of phone is $120.00.

Location:  residence of Wolf Road, Santa Fe, NM

On 12/7/09 between 0830 and 1745 hours victim stated unknown persons entered his residence through a west side sliding door.  Victim stated unknown persons removed a LG 42" flatscreen TV, a Sony bluray disc player, misc. medication, and misc. jewelry from within the residence.  Estimate value of items taken is $9675.00.

Charges: DWI, Use of multi-beam road lighting equipment

On 12/06/09 at 2:33am, suspect was driving a 1994 Toyota Corolla, 4d, bearing NM plate# KLT-393, and failed to dim bright headlights. Suspect was found to be impaired, and was arrested, charged, and booked accordingly/ Breath tests were .14/.15

Location:  residence off of Demecio Road, Tesuque, NM

On 12/6/09 victim reported unknown suspects removed misc. seamstress supplies, a camera, a portable printer, and 3 duffle bags from the victim's vehicle which was unlocked on 12/4/09 between 0000 and 0800 hours.  Victim stated that items are used to perform her labor as a Movie Set Costume Designer.  Victim spoke with neighbors who did not witness any suspicious activity.  Estimated amount of items taken is $1006.00. 


Case #:  0209010523/ Receiving or Transfering Stolen Property, Recovery of Stolen Property/ Date:  12/5/09

Location:  Hill Trail Drive and US 84/285, Espanola, NM (La Puebla)

Suspect:  46 year old male

On 12/3/09 victim's business was burglarized in Espanola, NM where bedroom furniture was taken along with other items.  On 12/5/09 while deputy was traveling south on US 84/285 he observed a vehicle selling new mattresses from the bed of a truck.  Deputy stopped and talked to suspect and also contacted Espanola Police Department who sent an officer to conduct a followup investigation.  Items were identified and returned to victim.  Espanola Police Department took over investigation.  Estimated amount of items recovered is $788.00.

Victim reported that on December 4, 2009 at approximately 11:00 p.m. a family member took his above listed vehicle without his consent and has not returned it.  The victim signed an stolen motor vehicle affidavit and the vehicle has been entered into NCIC.

On 12/5/09, suspect was driving a 1991 Honda Accord, bearing NM plate# KBA-613, and was passing other motorists, in the turn lanes at a high rate of speed. Suspect was found to be intoxicated, and was arrested, charged, and booked accordingly. Breath tests were .09/.09

Victim reported that between 12:00 pm and 2:15pm on 12-5-2009 while she was attending church, an unknown person(s) broke the rear drivers side rear door window to her 2007 Jeep Liperty with an unknow object.  The suspect(s) removed a black bag from the back seat that contained misc. school paperwork.  No physical evidence was located at the scene.  No suspect(s) or witnesses at this time.

Victim reported that sometime between December 1, 2009 and December 4, 2009 an unknown person(s) gained unauthorized forced entry into her residence through the garage.  Victim advised that nothing appeared missing from the residence although noticed that some bank account documents had been moved.  Victim advised that she has checked with her bank and no unauthorized activity has been reported.  Further investigation into this matter is pending.
