Victim reported that unknown suspect entered their home though an unlocked door. Suspect stole 2 lap top computers and a 24” television. One of the computers was able to be listed into NCIC, as stolen property.

Victim had been suffering from several health conditions, including breathing issues. Victim was not feeling well, prior to death. No signs of foul play. Death is classified as natural cause.

Location: Interstate 25 mm 280, Santa Fe, NM

At about 9:42pm on 1/31/09, a husband and wife were traveling on I-25 and were victims of a shooting, apparently resulting from road rage.  The victims stated they were nearly run off the roadway by a white Chevy pickup two to three times. They stopped in an attempt to get away and the Chevy also stopped. The driver of the Chevy exited and approached the victims as they started to drive away again. The driver of the Chevy brandished a handgun and fired one shot at the victim's vehicle. The bullet entered through the passenger side window but missed the passenger. During the investigation, bullet fragments were recovered from the rear passenger area of the vehicle. The Chevy pickup was last seen traveling northbound on I-25.

At the time of report, the suspect had not been identified or located.

The above driver was stopped for careless driving on Rodeo Road. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrested. He submitted to a breath test and the results were .12 and .13. Additionally, it was learned during the traffic stop that the driver purchased alcohol for a minor under the age of 18, who was also in the vehicle at the time of stop. The driver was booked into ADC accordingly.

The above driver was stopped for speeding on NM 14. The driver concealed his identity  to the Deputy during the traffic stop and he was placed under arrest. The driver was booked into ADC accordingly and was further charged with having a suspended license.

The victim reports that sometime on 1/30/09 and 1/31/09, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's residence by forcing open a window and stole a 52" Flat screen television from inside. The suspect(s) have not been identified and no witnesses have come forward.
