CHARGES: 2 COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON
Victim called and reported that her land lord, Eleuterio A. Herrera forced his way into her house and was swinging a knife and swearing at her and her daughter (7yoa). Victim reported that the suspect then cut her clothes lines and in the process he almost hit the child. Victim reported that the suspect was intoxicated. Suspect was located at his house next door and after investigation was done he was arrested on above listed charge and taken to the Adult Detention Center.

Location: County Road 63 House 182B, Glorieta, NM
On above date at approximately 2142 hours, deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a 61 year old male not breathing and possibly deceased. Upon arrival medics were administering CPR and it was terminated at about 2225 hours. OMI was contacted and arrived on scene at about 2340 hours. Victim was pronounced deceased at 2358 hours. No foul play is suspected. Victim had history of medical problems.

Sometime between 12-24-08 and 01-02-09 unknown suspects scratched gang logos on five- four by four foot windows at the above location. The suspects also marked three water containers and a power box with a sharpie marker. The damage was estimated at $2,500.00.

On this date victim reported that he co-signed for a loan for suspect about 2-years ago. Victim believes suspect now has used his information to open creidt card and charged $4,000.00 balance. Case is under investigation at this time.
CASE 0209000043 / DWI-DRIVING ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC / 01-02-2009

LOCATION: RUFINA ROAD - ZAFARANO, SANTA FE AREA
ARRESTED: KYNDRA A. GARCIA, 20 YOA FEMALE
CHARGES: DWI, DRIVING ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC
On this date deputys were set to the area due to citizens complaints of a vehicle all over the roadway. Vehicle was located and stopped for failure to maintain its lane of the roadway. Suspect was found to be under the influence and was arrested on above listed charges. Suspect was taken to ADC after blood draw was completed.

Suspect: 34 year old male
On 01-02-09 at approximately 11:40 am a 34 year old male fled the Santa Fe County Electronic Monitoring Program after he was advised that he was going to be taken into custody on a warrant for violating his terms of release. Subject was not located in the area.

Suspect(s)/Arrested: Pending
Victim reported that sometime between the hours of 10:00 AM and 10:15 AM today (1-2-08) an unknown person stole her tan in color 2003 Chevy Avalanche as it was parked running, unattended and unsecured in the parking lot. Victim also left her purse which contained several credit cards and ID's. No suspects or witnesses at this time. Value of vehicle is $15,000.

On 1-1-09, at about 3:48am, Deputies responded to a family dispute at the above location. According to interviews, one of the male family members punched another in the face. Later in the investigation, one of the family members also alleged that the same male unzipped her pants and touched her vaginal area while she was sleeping. At the time of report, the said male had already left the area and was not located.

Location: Richards Rd and Rodeo Rd - Santa Fe
Arrested: Lawrence Gonzales - age 19, Ribera, NM
The above driver was stopped for failing to stop at a red light. The Deputy smelled a heavy odor of Marijuana in the vehicle and subsequent investigation found the driver in possession of prescription drugs not prescribed to him. The driver additionally showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcohol and smoking marijuana. The driver was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Charges: Assault against a household member, Concealing Identity, Service of Documents
On 01-01-09 the above individual was placed under arrest after he attempted to force his way into his ex-girlfreinds residence. The individual attempted to conceal his real name by using an alias and a fake date of birth. The individual was also found to have an active arrest warrant out of the City of Santa Fe under another alias name. The individual was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.
