Between 11:30am and 4:30pm suspect(s) entered a 2001 Jeep Cherokee while parked at the ski basin. Taken from inside was a wallet and several credit cards. Several charges had been made on the credit cards prior to them being cancelled. The case is under investigation.

Between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, suspect(s) entered an unlocked door to a 1997 Honda and stole a purse containing several intems to include a wallet and cell phone. The case is under investigation.

Charged: Bench warrant out of Las Vegas, NM magistrate Court for failure to appear
On 3/8/08, deputies were dispatched to a same sex domestic dispute at the above location. Both parties had struck one another. Owner of the residence had a scratch on her neck and advised the other party to leave when she refused to leave she had pushed her out the door. Both parties then began to leave in their vehicles and one vehicle struck the other. Witness had an active warrant for his arrest out of Las Vegas, New Mexico for failure to appear. He was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

On 3/7/08 between the hours of 1200 and 2156 victim's vehicle was stolen from her residence. Victim stated that she left her vehicle unlocked and possibly a key inside. The vehicle a 2006 Pontiac G-6 black in color bearing NM HXD291 was entered into NCIC. There are no suspects at this time.

Charged: Abandonment or Abuse of a child, Bench warrant failure to appear out of Magistrate Court
On 3/7/08 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to abandonment or abuse of a child. Deputies made contact with victim who stated that his children were left alone in the residence. Deputies arrived at the residence and found it to be cold and the mother no where to be found. Suspect called RECC looking for her children and was found to have an active warrant for her arrest. She was also charged for abandoment or abuse of a child. She was arrested, transported and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 03/08/08 deputies responded to a report of a home invasion at the above location. Upon investigation it was learned that the suspect resided at the residence and had been involved in a domestic disturbance with his live in girlfriend. Victim complained of a battery and had visible redness to her right arm. Suspect was taken into custody and was found to also have an outstanding warrant out of Santa Fe County Magistrate Court.

Purchasing manager for Suncor Construction Co. reported that 4 of the companies model homes were broken into between the hours 5:45pm on 3/5/08 to 6:30am on 3/6/08. The following items were reported stolen: 2 Refrigerators, 1 oven range, 2 dish washers, 1 microwave, 3 topload washers, & 3 electric dryers ($5,167 value).

Sometime between 5:00pm on 3/4/08 and 1:43pm on 3/5/08 someone broke into some stables at Ranchos de Canoncitos and stole 4 saddles ($2,820 value). The suspect(s) broke a lock one of the stable doors and gained entry. No suspects at this time.
