Property owner reported that someone used spray paint to damage several walls at the above location by spraying "Sur 13".  The damage was estimated at over $1000.


0208-1608/ Aggravted Assault on a household member/ 2-25-08

Suspect: Michael Hein   age 34

Charges: Aggravated Assault on a household member, Battery on a household member, Possession of drug paraphernalia

Suspect was involved in a domestic with his wife. Suspect threatened her while armed with a knife. He also hit her several times. Victim dislocated her shoulder during the fight. Contact was made with the suspect at which time it was found that he was in possession of items to propagate psilocybin.

Sometime between 1:00pm on 2/24/08 and 7:30am on 2/25/08, unknown suspect(s) broke the window of the victim's vehicle and stole a radar detector.  No suspects or witnesses have been identified at the time of this report.

Sometime between 11:30 am on 2/21/08 and 12:00pm on 2/25/08, unknown person(s) forced entry through a sliding door at the victim's residence. Several appliances were stolen from inside.  No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

Location: Monte Alto Road - Eldorado

Victim reported someone broke a bedroom window to a vacant residence she owns.  Incident occurred between 2/16/08 and 2/23/08.  There were indications the suspect(s) entered the residence  and rummaged through items but did not steal anything.  The suspects are unkown at this time and no witnesses have come forward.

Location: NM State Road 14 - Travel Town RV

Manager of the above business reports that sometime between 1700 hours on 2-22-08 and 0800 hours on 2-23-08, unknown suspect(s) entered the property and forced entry into approx. 50 campers/trailers.  Preliminary findings show approx. 40 flat panel televisions and numerous DVD players were stolen.  Investigation showed that the suspect(s) parked on I-25 near the Cerrillos exit and walked unto the property.  No suspects or witnesses are known at that time.

Victim: 51 year old male

Above victim was found deceased at his place of business by one of his employees.  The victim had been diganosed with pneumonia a couple days before and preliminary findings by medics and omi showed it was a factor in his death.  There were no signs of foul play at that time.

Victim reports a road rage incident, in which a male in another vehicle pointed an apparent handgun at him.  Suspect was driving a gold in color, Cutlass with small tires. Suspect was unknown at the time of report.

Location: Old Windmill Trail - Madrid

Arrested: Joshua Monroy - age 29, Madrid, NM

On February 23, 2008, deputies responded to victim's residence, who reported her nephew was violating an active order of protection by letting his dogs run wild on her property.  After investigation, deputies deteremined there was a violationof the order and placed the suspect under arrest.  The suspect was booked into the Adult Detention Center accordingly.
