Arrested: Amarante Jaramillo, 43YOM, Chimayo, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a male passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the driver, who had a firearm and a bottle of alcoholic beverage in his lap. Deputies observed signs of impairment, and the subject submitted to SFSTs; the subject performed poorly. The subject was placed under arrest, and while the subject was being searched, several baggies of a white powdery substance were located. A blood test was completed at a local hospital, results are still pending. The subject was transported and booked accordingly.

Location: 225 Montezuma Ave Santa Fe, NM (First Judicial District Court)

Arrested: Mendez, Gerardo - 19 YOM

Subject arrived to check in with pre-trial services and learned he had an active warrant for his arrest for violating his conditions. Subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

Case#2024004619/Driving While License Revoked (122G)/9-4-24

Location: Dinkle Road and Horton Road, Edgewood, NM

Arrested: Theron Sandoval, 42YOM, Algodones, NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location. During an MVD inquiry, it was discovered the driver's drivers license was revoked based on a previous DWI. The driver was arrested, transported, and booked accordingly without incident.

Case 2024004593-  Larceny, Criminal Damage- 9/3/2024

Location: 2700-BLK of Cerrillos Rd

Items taken: Misc. tools- valued at $3,400

On Monday, September 3, 2024 deputies were dispatched to the location of 424 and NM 599 Frontage RD in reference to a Larceny to a county fleet vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was found that a county utility box had been broken into and was missing tools. The location of the incident occurred at 2721 Cerrillo’s RD. The vehicle was at the location for service at Octane GMC of Santa Fe. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Case #2024004604 - 4605 - 4606 - 4607 / Receiving, Transferring Stolen Motor Vehicle - Warrant Service X3 / 09/03/2024

Location: La Cumbre Lane

Arrested: Brian Lemus-Baez (29 YOM)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a warrant service.  Deputies learned Mr. Lemus was inside of a stolen motor vehicle and had three active felony warrants.  Deputies located Mr. Lemus inside of the motor vehicle that was entered into NCIC as stolen.  He was taken into custody without incident and charged accordingly.

Contact with the subject was made at the location for being on private property. The subject had a Magistrate warrant for his arrest for failure to appear, with the original charge of Driving while his license was revoked. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC.

Contact with the subject at the location for being on private property. The subject had a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear with the original charge of unlawful use of a license. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC

Case #2024004573 / Unattended Death / 09/03/2024

Location: Los Ranchitos (Chimayo)

Decedent: 96 YOM

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to an ambulance assist.  Medics were on scene and advised the patient showed no signs of life and had an DNR in place.  OMI responded to the location and completed a separate investigation.  There were no signs of suspicious activity.

Case 2024004564- Unattended death- 9/3/2024

Location: Ramsey Rd

Deceased: 24 YOM

Deputies were dispatched to the location for a male not conscious or breathing with a gunshot wound. Medics arrived on scene and determined the male was beyond life-saving measures. OMI arrived on scene and determined the gunshot wound was self-inflicted and there were no signs of foul play. 

Case#2024004567 Warrant Arrest 09-02-24

Location: Tesuque Village Road/ Yana Dr. (Tesuque) 

Arrested: Kenneth Mitchell 32 yoa (Tesuque)

Subject was stopped for a traffic violation and found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Santa Fe Magistrate Court for failing to appear. Subject was taken to ADC without incident.
