Victim: 65 YOM

Vehicle: White and green 2004 Fleetwood RV bearing NM-04412RVC

Victim arrived at the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office to file a report in reference to his stolen RV. Victim advised he last seen his RV in July of 2023. Being unable to locate it, he called multiple tow companies and other police agencies and learned it was not towed. The vehicle has been entered in NCIC as stolen. Case is under investigation.

                                                 

2023005955 / Burglary of MV, Larceny, Criminal damage to property / 10-05-2023

Location: Borrego Trail Head, Hyde Park Rd, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: 33 YOF

Victim reported that her vehicle was burglarized on Monday, October 2, 2023 between the hours of 3PM and 4PM. While she was on a hike, unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered her vehicle by breaking the window. Once inside they stole her purse containing credit cards and her driver’s license. Victim later discovered unauthorized charges on her credit cards. Case is under investigation.

Case#2023005904 Receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle

Location: 179 mile post US 84-285 Pojoaque area

Arrested: Charles Valdez 37 yoa male (Santa Fe)

Pojoaque tribal police contacted the SFSO in reference to a traffic stop. PPD advised they had stopped a motorcycle-type vehicle which was stolen. Deputies arrived on the scene and determined the subject had possession of the motorcycle and arrested him. The subject was also found to have 6 warrants for his arrest out of the Santa Fe area courts (Magistrate, Municipal). The subject was booked into SFADC without incident. 

Case#2023005894/Arson and Criminal Damage to Property/10-3-23

Assigned: X Boling

Entering: Cpl. C Valencia

Location: Casa Rufina Road, Santa Fe, NM

Damaged: Door, Carpet, Gas Line (Total Value $4,000)

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to disorderly conduct. Upon arrival, management advised that they had located a small fire near a maintenance closet in the building. Deputies learned that the suspect(s) lit two small rugs and papers on fire.

Location: Chaparral Dr, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Gift Cards (Value $500)

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a fraud. Deputies learned that the victim recieved an alert from "Paypal" that their was an issue with her account. When the victim contacted the telephone number the suspect(s) told her to purchase gift cards and give them the numbers on the cards. The victim complied and suddenly realized that the incident was a scam.

SUPECT ARRIVED FOR PRE TRIAL SERVICE FOUND TO HAVE TWO ACTIVE WARRANTS. SUSPECT SERVED AND ARRESTED ON WARRANTS. SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER WHERE SHE WAS BOOKED ACCORDINGLY WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

SUPECT ARRIVED FOR PRE TRIAL SERVICE FOUND TO HAVE AN ACTIVE WARRANT. SUSPECT SERVED AND ARRESTED ON WARRANT. SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER WHERE HE WAS BOOKED ACCORDINGLY WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

Arrested:Jose Ruvalcaba-Rascon 22 yoa male (Santa Fe)

Subject was stopped for a speeding violation. Subject was also found to have a revoked drivers license. The license was revoked due to a prior DWI. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident. 

Case#2023005854 and 2023005855/Possession of a controlled substance, Receiving transferring stolen motor vehicle, and warrant service/10-1-23

Location: Ogo Wii, Pojoaque, NM

Arrested: Carlos Talavera, 44YOM, Espanola, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding assistance with other agencies. Upon arrival, deputies learned that Pojoaque Tribal Police conducted a traffic stop on a stolen motor vehicle. Tribal Police made contact with the driver, identified as the above individual. While on the scene, deputies learned the subject had a warrant for his arrest. The subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked without incident. During an inventory of the vehicle, several fentanyl pills were located within reach of the driver. Arrested: Zachary Mouchette, 32YOM, Rio Rancho, NM

On September 30, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a motor vehicle crash. After ivestagtion, the above suspect/driver was eventually located at Allsups. While speaking with the driver, deputies observed signs of impairment. Suspect provided a breath sample of .36 and .36. The above suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Faclity.
