On Friday, September 9th, 2022, deputies responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle. Contact was made with the owner and they advised the vehicle had broken down on County Line Road around 1:00 pm. When they returned at 3:00 pm, the vehicle was gone. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen. This case remains under investigation.

On Friday, September 9th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an intoxicated subject call. Upon arrival, the above male was observed inside of a motor vehicle. The driver had driven to the location and he exhibited signs of impairment. An investigation ensued and the driver was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI. The driver provided a breath sample. The sample was above the legal limit. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On 9-9-2022, Deputy Maria Hernandez took an identity theft call for service. The citizen fell victim to identity theft. The citizen stated she found out an unknown person had opened up a T-Mobile account in their name and information. This account had an outstanding balance due. This case is under investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary. Reporting party stated unknown suspects took a wallet from inside the home and stole the keys for the Cadillac parked in the driveway. No forced entry into the home. No suspect information is available at this time..

Contact was made with reporting party who advised text messages were received by who she believed was her supervisor. Reporting party advised she was being asked to send gift cards. RP did send two $100.00 gifts but after receiving more demanding messages believed the conversation to be a fraud.

On 9-9-2022, Deputy Sanchez responded to a residence reference a stolen vehicle. Upon further investigation, Deputy Sanchez learned an unknown individual entered the locked residence and took the resident's wallet and vehicle keys. The suspect fled the area in the resident's vehicle, which was parked in the front yard. This case is under investigation.

On Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a female who was not conscious and not breathing. Upon arrival, the female was located deceased. OMI was summoned and based on the investigation, the death appeared to be of natural causes. No signs of foul play.
