On Thursday, July 11, 2019 at approximately 3:04pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to criminal damage to a motor vehicle. Sometime during the night an unknown suspect(s) broke one of the windows and spray painted graffiti all over the car, causing more than $1000 in damage. Investigation is ongoing.

Location: 100 Block of Camino de los ranchos
On todays date I was dispatched to the above listed location in reference to a Burglary.Upon arrival contact was made with victim who stated he had caught the suspect in his house going through his fridge. Victim stated he told suspect to leave the residence immediately and Suspect became upset and left. Victim stated after the suspect left he observed his hand tools to be missing. Victim stated he knew Suspect but that the Suspect did not have permission to be inside his house. Deputies attempted to contact the suspect at his last known residence to no avail. Warrant was drafted and approved.

Security Officers were patrolling the listed area when the listed suspect began yelling he was going to kill them. Suspect chased the security officers in their vehicle while throwing rocks at them. Suspect was ultimately arrested for the charge of assault as well as several active arrest warrants.

Location: Agua Fria/ Caja del Oro Grant Road
Deputies observed a vehicle traveling without its headlamps on when required and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop when given audible and visual signals to do so. The driver then pulled into a residence and ran inside to avoid apprehension. Deputies apprehended and arrested the driver after a foot pursuit. Driver displayed signs of impairment when SFST's were administered. The driver submitted to a breath test the results of which were at or above a .16. He was booked.

Above subject was located on a traffic stop and found to have 3 active warrants for his arrest in relation to several traffic offenses. The warrants were issued by Rio Arriba Magistrate Court, Santa Fe Magistrate Court and Espanola Municipal Court.

Martinez was stopped by deputies after they observed traffic violations. Upon contacting Martinez, he was found to have two active outstanding arrest warrants. Martinez was arrested and taken to jail and booked accordingly.

Victim reported his vehicle was broken into while it was parked on the side of the road in I-25. The suspect(s) broke a window to gain access. Once inside the above items were stolen. While investigating this incident, Deputy Matison advised he located the stolen items in a stolen vehicle. Two suspects were found in the vehicle and taken into custody for this as well as an additional auto burglary.

Victim reported to Deputies on July 7, 2019 that her vehicle had been stolen while she was in the hospital. Victim stated she did not give anyone permission to use her vehicle during this time. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen.
