On 09-18-19 contact was made with the above individual at his residence. The individual had two active warrants for his arrest. The individual was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly.

Charges: Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Receiving/Transferring Stolen Property, Driving on a Suspended License, Improper display of registration, no insurance
On 09/18/19 a traffic stop was conducted on a red Toyota Corolla, which was displaying a license plate for a Chevy vehicle. Upon making contact with the driver it was learned the vehicle was not registered or insured. The driver was identified as Larry Manzanares, who was driving on a suspended license. Upon conducting an inventory of the vehicle, a firearm was located. The firearm was reported stolen out of Albuquerque NM. The driver was also found to be a convicted felon. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly.

Victim and suspect got into an argument over him helping her unload groceries from their vehicle. Victim went into his bedroom during the argument to relax on the bed. Suspect went into the bedroom and said, “One more word and I’ll slit your throat”. Victim left the room because he was in fear of Suspect. Suspect stayed in the bedroom and cut the mattress. Suspect also poured bleach all over the mattress so Victim could not use it.
