Location: 60 block of Moya Road, Santa Fe, NM

Deceased: Male subject 66 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to above location in reference to an ambulance assistance call.  Upon arrival to the location, medic personnel were giving CPR to the male individual, but were unsuccessful.  The deceased suffered from stage 4 cancer. OMI arrived on scene. No signs of foul play.

Person Arrested: Manuel Montenegro, 32 year old male subject

 

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the adult detention center in reference to the above mentioned male subject with an active warrant for his arrest.  The warrant was for failing to comply resulting from a DWI charge.  The male subject was re-booked without incident,


0218007280 – Possession of Controlled Substance – 05-12-18

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility

 Suspect: Jared Rivera – 27 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Possession of Suboxone – Possession of Methamphetamine

Deputy was dispatched to the Adult Detention Facility in reference to a narcotics violation. Upon arrival, contact was made with Corrections staff who advised the above suspect was being uncooperative while Corrections Officers were conducting an inmate pat down. Correction Officer's restrained the inmate and contraband was located on his waist-band area. Inmate was read his Miranda Rights and was uncooperative with his statement.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).


0218007275 – DWI – 05-12-18

Location: US-84/285 – 171 Mile Marker

 Suspect: Manuel Cruz-Montenegro – 32 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: DWI – Open Container – Roadways laned for Traffic – Unregistered Vehicle – Driver to be Licensed

On Saturday May 12, 2018 at approximately 10:40 pm deputies responded to the area of US 84/285 mile Marker 171 southbound for a report of a reckless driver

The vehicle and the driver was contacted and the driver was observed to have an odor of alcohol on his breath and/or person. The driver also had slurred speech and bloodshot watery eyes.

The driver admitted that he was drunk. The driver refused to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and urinated along the side of the road. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI. The driver refused to submit to a breath test. The driver’s vehicle was towed from the location.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

 


0218007205/Burglary Auto/5-11-18

Incident Location Rabbit Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect Vehicle: Black SUV

On Friday May 11, 2018 Deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned location in reference to a burglary in progress.  Victim reported they found two males with tattoos attempting to steal items from the vehicle.  Suspects fled the area in a black SUV.  Case pending further investigation.


Case#: 0218007244, Auto Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

Location of Incident: Down's of Santa Fe (Old Horse Racing Track)

 

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the above listed location in reference to multiple reports of auto burglaries. Upon arrival, it was discovered that multiple vehicles had been broken into while parked for a youth athletic event.  Upon further investigation, the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the unattended vehicles and stole various electronics, purses, wallets and cash.  This case is currently under investigation.

Location: 40 Block of Lumbre Del Sol, Espanola, NM

Deceased: Male subject 27 yoa, Espanola NM

Deputies responded to above location in reference to a male subject unconscious and not breathing. Medic personnel arrived on scene and continued CPR with negative results. The deceased suffered from alcoholism. OMI arrived on scene and found no signs of foul play.  Case is under investigation.

 


0218007229/ Criminal Damage to Property/ 05-12-18

Location: Leaping Powder Road- Arroyo Honda area

Arrested: Jose Rivera age: 44

Charges: Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member, Battery Against Household Member

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a Domestic Dispute. During the investigation it was determined the above male had damage several electronics and a glass coffee table. The suspect also had grabbed the wrists and forcibly pushed the victim onto the couch. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility


0218007228/ DWI/ 05-12-18

Location: SR 76 and Carmelitos Lane- Chimayo

Arrested: Benito Martinez age: 27

Charges: DWI, Speeding

Suspect was traveling east on N.M. 76 near Carmelito's drive when I tracked the suspect vehicle traveling 76mph in a 35 mph zone. I conducted a traffic on the vehicle and it was determined the suspect was intoxicated. I asked the suspect if he would be willing to submit to field sobriety tests and he refused. I read the suspect the New Mexico implied consent act and he refused to chemical testing.

 I learned the suspect this was his for subsequent arrest for DWI and warrant was drafted for a chemical blood withdrawal test. Warrant was drafted and signed by the on-call Judge Vehicle was siezed and brought to the office. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly.


Case #0218007118, Larceny

Location: 600 block of Santa Cruz Road, Espanola, NM

Victim: Female, 80, Fruita, Colorado

Suspect 1: Mary Trujillo, 65, Hernandez, NM

Suspect 2: Russell Trujillo, 43, Hernandez, NM

Suspect 3: Tillie Trujillo, 40, Hernandez, NM

Vehicle: 1998 Maroon Toyota car

Charges: Larceny, Theft of Credit Card, Receiving, transferring stolen property

On Thursday, May 10, 2018 at approximately 4:34pm, Deputy responded to the area of US 84/285 and Ogo Wii in the Pojoaque area in reference to a larceny. Suspects entered the bathroom the victim was in and took the victim's wallet containing cash and an Iphone. Victim tracked the suspects with the find my Iphone App. Suspect vehicle was located, a traffic stop was conducted and suspects each had stolen property in their possession. Suspects were placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
