Suspect: Daniel Perez, 20, Socorro, NM

Vehicle: 2012 black Ford Mustang

Charges: Concealing Identity, Speeding

On Thursday, December 28, 2017 at approximately 8:02pm, vehicle was observed traveling at a speed higher than the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, who was the suspect. Suspect provided a name and date of birth that were not his. Once suspect's identity was obtained, the suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was released to a friend per the request of the suspect.


Case#: 0217019548, Battery Against a Household Member, Assualt on a Peace Officer, Resisiting/Evading, 12/28/17

Person Arrested: Joaquin Lucero 36, year old male subject

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a report of a Domestic Disturbance.  Upon arrival, contact was made with the female reporting party who advised that her boyfriend was intoxicated and under the influence of narcotics.  Deputies then attempted to speak with the above mentioned male who was extremely uncooperative and aggressive. The male subject was taken into custody and taken to the adult detention center where he was charged and booked with further incident.

location: Roy Crawford (Hondo)

Victim reported that she was conducted by a male subject claiming to be her grandson.  She was instructed to send money Via Western Union to bail her grandson out of jail.  Victim advised she sent $920 for his bail.  She was later contacted a second time to send an additional $920 for "Medical Fees".  The victim sent the money to a bank in the Dominican Republic. She then contacted her grandson who was in Texas and he advised he had not been arrested. She attempted to cancel the western union transactions but missed the deadline.  This investigation is ongoing.      


0217019522-Bench Warrant-12/28/17

Deputy Assigned: F. Trujillo

Commander Entering: Sgt. T. Benavidez

Suspect: Darryl Miller(51)

Location: Azul Drive

Deputies while attempting to serve suspect with warrant for his arrest, barricaded himself at his residence. SWAT was activated and suspect surrendered. Suspect was served with six outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Victim: 34 Year Old Male

Taken Knife, Stun Gun($110)

Victim stated an unknown person entered his home and took above items. Victim believes items were taken a month and a half ago. No suspects at this time.

While incarcerated at the SFCADC suspects cell was searched and Suboxone was located in his cell. Suspect was rebooked.


0217019397 AGG DWI 12/26/17

Suspect: M. Roybal age 52

Location: Kicks 66 Gas Station Pojoaque

Deputies were dispatched to assist Pojoaque Tribal PD on a traffic stop.  The driver displayed signs of impairment.  He was arrested and provided a breath sample on the IR8000. He had a breath alcohol content of more than twice the legal limit of .08.  He was booked into the Santa Fe County ADC.

Victim: 83 Year Old Female

Suspect: Unknown

Victim was told that her grandson needed bail money. Victim sent $909 dollars via Western Union to the Dominican Republic. Victim then contacted her daughter who advised her she was scammed. No suspects at this time.

Deputies made contact with suspect on a Disorderly Conduct Call. Suspect was verified to have a Bench warrant. Suspect was taken to SFCADC without incident.

Location: La Barbaria (Hondo)

 

On todays date it was reported that unknown suspect(s) broke into a residence on La Bardaria RD.  Deputies checked the residence and it did not appear that any items had been taken at that time. This incident is under investigation.
