On August 30, 2018 at approximately 1:13pm, I was dispatched to a burglary at 250 Rabbit Road. I met with the victim who stated she arrived at the walking trail at approximately 11:45pm and when she returned to her vehicle at 1:00pm observed it had been burglarized. Victim said she observed the window was broken lying on the ground and the door had damage from pry marks. Victim said she check inside the vehicle and observed the list items missing. No shoe or tire impressions were located on scene. Incident is currently under investigation.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance to wit: Heroin, Receiving Stolen Property, and Driver to be licensed, Failure to Stop (Sign)
On 08-29-18 a traffic stop was conducted on a silver in color Toyota Corolla bearing NM GRG0112. The vehicle was observed failing to stop at the intersection of Avenida del Sur and Canada del Rancho. Upon running the plate through dispatch, it was learned the plate was stolen. Upon taking the suspect into custody, the suspect was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, to wit heroin. The driver was also driving without a valid drivers license. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility
