Victim reported to deputies that during an argument, her boyfriend shoved her into a wall causing damage and minor injuries. Victim stated the suspect then left the home with one of the children. A warrant was drafted after the other party was not located.

On January 14, 2018 deputies contacted the victim in reference to a larceny. Victim reported his residence was damaged and items were stolen. Victim believes his former tenant is responsible for the damage and theft of the items. Case under investigation.

On 01-13-18 the victim reported she went to inspect the residence on 01-09-18 and found the above items removed from the residence. The victim hired a property company to manage leasing the property. The victim had not been to the residence in the last two years. The victim did not know when the items were taken. Suspect information is pending.

Decedent: 76 year old male
On January 13, 2018 Deputies responded to the above mentioned location in reference to a male not conscious and not breathing. The decedent had a history of medical conditions and most likely died of natural causes. There was no signs of foul play.

On January 13, 2018 deputies contacted the victim in regards to a fraud. Victim reported someone acted as an attorney for a family member who was incarcerated and needed $3000 to be released. Victim later learned it was a scam and the family member was never incarcerated. There is no suspect info.

Person Arrested: Patrick Lee Pacheco, 34 year old male subject
On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the area of the east frontage road in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the above mentioned male subject who was intoxicated. The male subject and his significant other were involved in a physical altercation at which time, he battered her. The male subject was arrested and transported to the adult detention center where he was charged and booked without further incident.

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the adult detention center in reference to a report of a narcotics violation. Upon arrival, it was learned that the above mentioned male subject was found in possession of a controlled substance during a search of his holding cell. The male subject was Mirandized and refused to speak about the incident. The male subject was charged and rebooked without incident.

Person Arrested: Starrett Huntsman, 34 year old male subject
On the aforementioned date, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on US highway 285, mile post 286 for excessive speed. Upon further investigation, the above mentioned male subject was found to be driving a motor vehicle with his driving privileges revoked. The male subject was taken into custody pursuant to the suspended/revoked driver's license arrest clause. The vehicle was also seized per Santa Fe Counties vehicle seizure ordinance.
