On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the victims home regarding a report of a Burglary.  Upon speaking with the victim, she advised that jewelry and some other miscellaneous items were taken from her home while she was out of town.  The victim was able to provide information regarding a possible suspect.  This case is currently under investigation. 


0217009794 Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon / 7-8-2017

Commander Entering: Lt. Michael Martinez

Location: NM Hwy 14 at NM SR 599    (South Santa Fe)

Deputies were dispatched to location reference to a fight in progress. Upon arriving, deputies contacted victim who stated he had been involved in a altercation with an unknown male in his early 20's. The victim stated he and the suspect had almost collided with each other in their vehicle and the suspect then armed himself with a large knife during the argument. Victim stated he believed he was about to be stabbed so he left the area. Case is under investigation.


Case 0217009746- Bench Warrant-Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia-07/07/17

Arrested: Carlos Segocia (22)

 Above subject was stop for speeding. Arrestee was taken into custody on a Bench warrant. Upon search of his vehicle a  glass pipe was located. Arrestee was taken to the SFC Detention Center without incident.

Location: Residence on Rancho Primavera, Edgewood N.M.

Stolen several firearms

Sometime between 6-176-17 and 7-6-17 someone entered the victims residence and stole several firearms.

Location: El Rancho Community Center

Stolen 2 Stihl string trimmers valued at $600

On 7-6-17 Santa Fe County Workers were working at the El Rancho Community Center when someone stole 2 string trimmers from the bed of their work truck. 


0217009702-Battery Against a Household Member- 7-7-17

Deputy Assigned- C. Reed

Location- 100 Block of Calle Don Tomas

Person Arrested- Adrian Roybal 42 yo Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the above address regarding a domestic dispute.  Upon investigation, it was determined that the above listed individual had battered his girlfriend.  Subject was booked accordingly.

Location: Cielo Rojo & Cowboy Lane

Deputies were dispatched to the area of Cielo Rojo and Cowboy Lane for a brush fire. Fire personal advised they located matches and a box of matches. Case is under investigation.


Case 0217009670-Unattended Death-07/06/17

Location: 10 Cities Of Gold Road

Victim: 27 Year Old Male

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an ambulance assist. While en route, RECC advised of a male subject who was unconscious and was not breathing in a hotel room. Upon arrival, contact was made with Pojoaque PD who advised housekeeping located the subject deceased on the floor. OMI arrived on and scene and not observe any signs of trauma. No evidence of foul play was located. 


0217009480 - Battery against a Household Member - 07-04-17

Location: Canada Del Rancho

 Suspect: Carlis Chee - 48 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery against a Household Member - Interference with Communications

Victim reported that she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument. The boyfriend grabbed her around the waist and would not let her go. The suspect then grabbed her by the legs and they fell to the floor. Victim said the suspect took her cell phone away to prevent her from calling 911

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).


0217009475 - Criminal Tresspass - 07-03-17

Location: Boys & Girls Club (Pojoaque)

 Suspect: Christopher Martinez  - 20 - Espanola, NM

Charges: Criminal Trespass - Resisting or Obstructing an Officer

Deputies and Pojoaque Tribal Police were dispatched in reference to a domestic dispute involving the suspect who Pojoaque Police and trespassed from property earlier. When the Pojoaque Police attempted to stop the suspect he refused to stop his vehicle until he was blocked in by a Pojoaque Police Unit.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).
