Deputy Archuleta was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a battery. Upon arrival it was learned the suspect battered the victim in the face with a closed fist after trading insults on the recreation field. Suspect was rebooked accordingly.

On 06/07/17, Deputies were dispatched to the above location, in regards a possible burglary. While at the residence, the reporting party reported she was leasing the residence. However, during the investigation it was learned from the homeowner, the lease was fraudulent and the homeowner never leased the residence to the original reporting party. This case is currently under investigation.

Victim: 73 Year Old Male
Contact was made with the listed victim via telephone in reference to a burglary. Contact was also made with the caretaker of the home who discovered the home was burglarized on today's date. It was learned unknown suspects gained unlawful entery by using a pry tool near the door jamb of a glass sliding door on the west end of the home. It is believed the home was broken into between the dates of 5-2-17 and today's date at around 10:00 am. The only item that is reported as missing at this time is a hunting knife but other areas of the home were ransacked.

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the victims home in Eldorado in reference to a report of Fraud. Upon arrival, it was learned that the victim was contacted by his financial institution's fraud department regarding suspicious activity in his checking account. The victim further stated that he thinks he left his wallet inside his friends vehicle the night prior. This case is currently under investigation.

Charges: DWI – Stop Sign – Failure to maintain lanes
The suspect was observed by Deputy Blaisure to fail to stop for a stop sign and drive head-on into a guard rail. When asked for her driver’s license she gave the deputy her credit card. Field Sobriety Tests were administered that showed signs of impairment. The suspect was arrested and taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital for a blood draw.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

On June 5, 2017 at approximately 12:51pm, I was dispatched to above location in reference to criminal damage to property. I met with the victim who stated a male slashed four of the tires on his trailer and stole the license plate. Victim said he dropped off the trailer at location at 6:30am on June 2, 2017 and when he went to check on it at 1:00pm the tires were slashed. Victim said the male who he believes slashed the tires sales slabs of rock in the area. Victim was unable to give any further information of unknown male suspect. No evidence was located on scene.

Between May 15th, 2017, and June 4th, 2017, the victim stated the listed items were stolen off the property from inside a wooden crate. The victim does not know who would have stolen the items and stated that a person would have knowledge on how to use the mirrors for solar use.

Victim reported to the Deputy that on 6-3-2017, an unknown suspect(s) had used her stolen debit card at an Exon gas station for the amount of $80.00. The card was cancelled and the victim filed a dispute with the bank on the fraudulent charges. Case is currently under investigation.
