Arrested: Joseph Archuleta       Age: 49     Espanola,NM

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic occurring in a vehicle while it was moving near the Pojoaque High School. Deputies located the vehicle at the Pojoaque Supermarket and made contact with the individuals inside the vehicle. It was learned that the male had battered his girlfriend and was arrested without incident. The male also had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was taken to the county jail and booked accordingly.


0217005655 / Possession of a Controlled Substance / 4-24-17

Location: 28 Camino Justicia (ADC)

Suspect: Michael Martinez

On April 24, 2017, Deputy Lattin was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to an inmate in possession of a controlled substance.  Upon arrival it was determined the listed inmate was found in possession of a film like substance consistent with Suboxone.  Inmate was re-booked on possession of a controlled substance.

Location: Camino Apolonia Santa Fe,NM

Items Stolen: Electronics / Stringed instruments

Victim reported to deputy that sometime today between the hours 1130 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. unknown persons forced entry into the home and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.


Case#: 0217005637, Death Investigation 4/24/17

Deputy Handling: D.Romero

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to reports of an elderly female who was found unresponsive.  Upon arrival, it was discovered that the elderly female a resident of San Illdefonso suffered from multiple health related aliments.  The Office of the Medical Investigator was contacted and responded to the residence.  No indications or evidence of foul play was located. 


0217005557 - Burglary - 04-21-17

Deputy Assigned: A. Montoya

Commander Entering: Cpl. R. J. Clark

Location: County Road 14A (Stanley)

Charges: Burglary – Larceny- Criminal Damage to Property

A witness stated that he saw the victim’s ex-boyfriend, and his brother, breaking into the victim’s residence.  Taken during the burglary was a 40” flat screen television and a PlayStation game console.

Arrests are pending contact with the suspects.


Case 0217005618-Contributing to the deliquency of a minor x2-Possession of Marijuana;less than an ounce-04/23/17

Location: 100 Block of Magpie

Suspect: Alexandra Hernandez(18)

Deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned location in reference to suspicious vehicle. Contact was made with suspect and two juvenile females. The suspect admitted to giving Marijuana to the juveniles by smoking the marijuana through a metal pipe. Suspect was arrested and taken to the Santa Fe County jail without incident.


Case 0217005579-Breaking and Entering Battery against a household member-Criminal Damage to property-04/22/17

Deputy Assigned: J. Vigil

Location: 100 Block of Boneyard Road

Victim: 16 year old Female

Suspect: Roberto Rodriguez(19)

The suspect used a skate board to break a wood panel to unlock the front door. Once inside the suspect spat at the victim and broke a window. Victim was located and arrested and taken to the Santa Fe County Adult detention center without incident.


0217005603 / False Imprisonment, Assault Against a Household Member, Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member / 4-23-17

Deputy assigned: D. Jaramillo

Commander entering: lt. M. Delgado

Location: Residence on Desert Blossom, Santa Fe N.M.

Arrested: James Petty, 40-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

    On 4-23-17 Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance call at the above location. The investigation revealed the defendant assaulted a household member, did not allow the household member to leave the house and damaged property inside the house during an argument.  The defendant was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on the above charges. 

 


Case#:0217005562, Recieving/Transfering a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Concealing Identity, 4/22/17

Deputy Handling: D.Romero

Incident Location: North View Trail, Edgewood

Person Arrested: Jacob E. Cano, 24 year old male

On the aforementioned date, Deputies were contacted by a property owner who reported locating a vehicle that was responsible for crashing into a fence on his property the night prior.  Upon the Deputies arrival, contact was made with the above mentioned male subject at the crashed vehicle.  The subject provided false identifying information to Deputies and the vehicle was also discovered to be stolen out of Albuquerque.  The male subject was taken into custody and transported to SFADC without incident. 


0217005591-Aggravated DWI, Driving while license is suspended/revoked, Vehicle Entering Stop or Yield intersection- 4-22-17

Deputy Assigned- A.Gutierrez

Commander Entering- Sgt. J. York

Location- US 84/285 / NM 106

Person Arrested- Greta Maez 42 yo Espanola, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a motor vehicle crash with injuries.  Upon investigation, it was found that the above listed individual was driving a 2001 Nissan Xterra while under the influence. Upon running the above listed, it was found that her driver's license was revoked. She was also cited for failing to stop prior to entering the above listed intersection.  She was booked accordingly.
