On Friday, March 31, 2017 at approximately 10:20pm, the vehicle was called into drunk busters. Once in the area of the location the vehicle was seen crossing over the line on the right side of the road, signal to make a right turn and make a late decision to go straight instead. A traffic stop was conducted to conduct a welfare check on the occupants of the vehicle. Contact was made with the suspect, who was driving the vehicle, who showed signs of impairment. Suspect submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and signs of impairment were observed. Suspect was placed under arrest for DWI and the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory was read to the suspect, who agreed to submit to a blood draw. Suspect was taken to the Christus St. Vincent Hospital where a blood draw was conducted. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Suspect was run through N.C.I.C. and returned with at least one prior DWI. The vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5.

On 03/30/17 the victim reported her Wells Fargo Credit Card and $500.00 in cash were stolen from her wallet. The victim stated her son and two friends arrived at her residence. After eating dinner she found the above listed items missing. The victims credit card was used at a Wal-Mart for various items. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Heroin; Bringing Contraband Into Places of Imprisonment; Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Suboxone
On Thursday, March 30, 2017 at approximately 12:48am, Deputy observed vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign near location. Vehicle then began to speed in the area. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the suspect, who was driving the vehicle. Suspect was run through N.C.I.C. and returned with an active arrest warrant. Suspect was placed under arrest. Suspect was asked several times if he had anything that he should not have in his possession, such as drugs and the suspect advised he did not. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. While suspect was being booked into the Santa Fe County Adult detention Facility, he was found in his possession Suboxone and Heroin. Suspect was re-booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Suspect was issued traffic citations for the traffic violations and was issued a copy of the warrant. The vehicle was released to a family member.

On 03/29/17 the victim reported he was checking his financial statements. While checking his accounts he found a discrepancy in one of his accounts. There was a large amount of money missing from the account. He was able to determine an unauthorized transaction was made in the amount of $70,000.00. Suspect information is pending in this matter.
