Between the hours of 10:30 am and 4:30 pm, unknown suspect forced entry into a White in color Ford Pickup. Once inside suspect took tools and financial documents valued at $2,000. Suspect also tampered with the ignition switch in the vehicle. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported that unknown suspects had opened a Verizon cell phone account using his information after receiving a disconnect notice in the mail. Case is under investigation.

On 02/17/17 the victim reported a burglary at his residence. The victim stated he could see three individuals in his residence taking items. Upon arriving into the area a red Dodge Ram truck was observed leaving the scene. The vehicle was later located in a remote area of Santa Fe County. There were several items in the vehicle believed to have been stolen from the above location. Suspect information is pending at this time.

On 2-16-17 at approximate 11:30pm a 41-year-old male was walking across Cerrillos Road when he was struck by a southbound vehicle. He was transported to St. Vincent Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies were dispatched in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. The victim stated that her husband had struck her. Deputies observed signs of battery on the victim. The suspect left the area prior to the arrival of deputies and a warrant for his arrest was obtained.

The victim stated that the suspect, her ex-boyfriend, came to her house and began kissing her. The victim was scared to tell the suspect “No” and the suspect began to have non-consensual sex with the victim. When the victim’s husband came home he found the victim and the suspect in bed together.
Detectives were contacted and took over the investigation.
