On Monday, February 13, 2017 at approximately 5:41pm, Deputy responded to the area in reference to a male who was passed out outside of the vehicle. Deputy observed the suspect operating the vehicle on the shoulder of the road. Contact was made with the suspect who showed signs of impairment. Suspect submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and continued to show signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest and was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory. Suspect agreed to submit to a blood draw. Suspect had prior DWIs on his driving record and the vehicle was seized per the Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5. An open container of an alcoholic beverage was located inside the vehicle. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On 02/12/17 the victim reported her Verizon Credit Card was stolen from her mail box. On 02/02/17 the victim reported see a black four door vehicle looking in her mailbox at about 5:30am. The victim stated she did not realized anything was stolen until the Verizon charge was found on her statement. The victim also believes a child support check was also stolen at that time. Suspect information is pending.

On 02/13/ 17 the victim reported someone attempted to steal his vehicle from the above location. The victim stated he arrived at the location on 2-12-17 at 8:30pm and went to his vehicle this morning to find an unknown person(s) attempted to steal his vehicle . The vehicle is a black 2008 Ford F350 truck. Damage to the vehicle consisted of damage to the door latch and ignition switch. Suspect information is pending at this time.
