Deputies were dispatched in reference to an auto burglary. The victim stated he noticed a male suspect in his truck and ran down to confront him. The victim stated that the suspect had his backpack. The suspect got his backpack back from the suspect and the suspect then left, walking down the roadway.
The victim stated that the only items that were missing were 9-10 orange soccer cones. The victim also found two wrist watches his vehicle that were not his.
The area was checked but the suspect was not located.

Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance (Suboxone) – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Syringe)
The suspect was observed retrieving an object off of the floor, which fell from his person. A search was conducted and suspected Suboxone and a syringe were located on the inmate.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Deputy was dispatched for a report of a vehicle that had gone off of the roadway. Upon contact the driver stated that he was texting and lost control of his vehicle. The driver showed signs of impairment during the Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested. Breathalyzer test results were .10 and .10
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Suspect: Lionel Martinez – 25 - Chimayo, NM
Charges: Aggravated DWI – Careless Driving
Deputies were dispatched in reference to a domestic disturbance and the calling party reported that the suspect had left the area driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck. Deputy Lattin was nearly struck by the vehicle as it traveled south on the frontage road. After being stopped the driver admitted to drinking a tallboy of Bud Light and a mini of Bird Dog. During the Field Sobriety Tests the suspect showed signs of impairment. The suspect was arrested but refused chemical testing.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

On above date, Deputies were dispatched to the area of NM 76 in reference to shots being fired at the victim of this case. Upon arrival it was determined the victim and suspect became involved in an altercation which led to the suspect firing one shot at the victim with a 20 gauge shotgun. There were no injuries and the suspect was located and arrested on the above charges.

On above date, Deputy Eccles was dispatched to Housta Ct, in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival it was determined between 2: 00 pm and 4:00 pm unknown suspects entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole the items listed above. Case is under investigation.

On 02/10/17 the victim reported sometime between 11/2/16 and 2/10/17 unknown persons forced entry into a storage cabinet and stole the above items. The unknown suspect(s) appeared to have used a shovel to pry open the door. Suspect information is pending at this time.
