Deputies were dispatched to the above address reference to a domestic dispute. Upon investigation, it was determined that above suspect punched several holes in the wall of his mother's residence and also battered his mother during the argument. Subject was booked accordingly.

Person Arrested- Michael Martinez 27 yo Santa Fe

Deputy was dispatched to the above location reference to an assault.  Upon investigation, it was found that the above listed suspect had battered two detention officers and assaulted another.  He was re booked accordingly.

Victim reports check and credit card taken without permission and used at various grocery stores and ATM.  Case is under investigation. 


0216010684-Aggravated DWI- 7-8-16

Location- County Road 44 / State Road 14

Person Arrested- Juan Gonzales 48 yo Santa Fe

Above listed person was observed driving erratically on State Road 14.  A traffic stop was conducted and upon making contact an odor of an intoxicant was noted on his breath. Standard field sobriety tests were administered and he showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested.

On this date, victim was playing a game online when they were informed that they had won a prize.  Victim then received a phone call from Publishers Clearing House and was asked to provide personal information and was also told to send $600 in order to receive the prizes. Victim called Publishers Clearing House directly and found out that it was a scam.

Case is under investigation.

Sometime between Saturday, July 2ndand Wednesday, July 6th, someone stole a Solar Tech – Junior Messenger Board from Highway 14 between Madrid and Golden NM.   The item is described as an Orange, electric construction message sign, on a trailer with wheels.  Value of trailer - $20,000.00

Neighbor stated between July 5, 2016 and July 7, 2016 an unknown person(s) entered the residence through an unlocked garage door and took above items. Neighbor advised the residence has been in foreclosure for sometime and does not know who owns the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle after observing the vehicle speeding. Upon contacting the driver, the deputy requested the vehicle and driver information. The deputy observed that the validation sticker had been altered and also did not belong to the license plate that was displayed on the vehicle. The deputy arrested the driver for the above violations and transported him to jail where he was booked accordingly

In Late May or early June 2016 suspect obtained the victims  personal information while the victim was at work. Victim discovered the theft when three transactions were made to her Elite Paycheck Plus Card for $327, $163, $161. Investigation is on going.
