Due to the limited nature of water resources in Santa Fe County (County), the vulnerability to depletion by drought, and to provide a sustainable resource for future generations, the Board of County Commissioners has adopted various land development codes since 1980 that address water conservation for all residential and commercial uses of water within the County. Some properties are required to meter and report domestic well use under the Domestic Well Use Metering Program, as described by notes on property plats, reference water covenants, and Section 7.13.11.5 of the County's current Sustainable Land Development Code.

This website provides for an online process by which well meter data can be reported, using provided guidelines if necessary to aid in finding. The red asterisk denotes required fields.
