The suspect was witnessed to have slapped his wife, putting his hands around her neck choking her, and pushing her down. The suspect also pushed his Mother-in-Law, who was on crutches, down.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Victim stated that suspect entered her vehicle at Gray 2008 Ford Explorer without permission and took the above item which caused the vehicle to be non functional. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported that her vehicle had multiple puncture holes on both rear tires. Deputies also observed scratch marks on the paint along the left side of the vehicle as well as the right rear side of the vehicles trunk. The victim estimated the damage to the vehicle to be valued at $1,000. Case is under investigation.

Stolen: 2012- silver in color GMC terrain
The victim reported the above vehicle as being stolen by two individuals at the above location as she was returning back from taking her horses off of the roadway. During the investigation, the vehicle was subsequently located on Pine East/Marissa Lane parked partially on the roadway . The vehicle was reported to be undamaged. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Deputies were dispatched to the jail after they were alerted of an inmate being in possession of a controlled substance. Upon arrival, the inmate admitted to the deputy that he possessed a controlled substance and intended to use it. The inmate was re booked into the jail with the additional charge.

Deputies were dispatched to Camino De Los Ranchos in reference to a medical assist. Deputies were told that on scene at that location were two persons found to be unconscious with a small toddler. The above persons were located and were arrested after receiving medical treatment. Both persons were transported to jail where they were booked accordingly.

Arrested: Michael Herrera Age: 40 Santa Fe,NM
The above person was observed coasting a vehicle down an on ramp of a highway. The vehicle was stopped and contact with the driver was made. The driver admitted to drinking before operating a vehicle. Sobriety tests were administered with impairment being detected. The driver was arrested and read the implied consent advisory. The driver refused to submit to chemical testing and transported to jail. The drivers vehicle was seized in accordance with County Ordinances.
