On above date Deputy Bell was advised to contact the victim of a fraud by telephone. Upon contacting the victim it was learned a wire transfer for a down payment on a rental unit located on Clove Court was sent to the suspect after answering an add on Craigslist. After transferring the money, the victim could no longer get a hold of the suspect. It was later learned the residents of the house on Clove Court do not rent the house out. Case is under investigation.

Deputies assisted on a motor assist on the above location. Deputies learned the above subject had an active bench warrant out of Sandoval County Magistrate Court for failure to appear. Subject was arrested and booked at ADC accordingly.

Decedent: 42 year old female
On 12/25/16 Deputies were dispatched to the above location in regards to an unresponsive and not breathing. Life saving techniques were attempted by Santa Fe County Fire Personnel, but were unsuccessful. The cause of death is pending an autopsy at this time. No signs of foul play were observed.

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Reckless, Driving While License Suspended or Revoked
On 12/25/16 the above individual was observed operating a blue in color Kia Amanti on US 84/285. A traffic stop was conducted after observing the vehicle exiting off of US 84/285 while traveling southbound in the northbound lane. Contact was made with the driver who admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. The driver was unable to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test. The driver did submit to chemical testing with results of a BrAC of .21/.20. The driver was also found to be driving on a revoked license. The driver was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. The vehicle was seized as per the Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance.

Suspect: Lonnie Martinez – 46 - Santa Cruz, NM
Charges: Driving While Revoked
Suspect was observed driving well under the posted speed limit. A check of the registration plate showed that the owner of the vehicle had a revoked driver’s license. Upon stopping the vehicle the suspect was verified to have a revoked driver’s license.
The suspect was arrested and his vehicle was seized as per Santa Fe County Ordinance.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

On 12/24/16 the above individual was booked into the Santa Fe County ADC on the aforementioned warrant. The warrant was issued on 12/22/16. The above subject reported to the SFC Electronic Monitoring program to turn himself in.

On 12/24/16 the above female was found deceased in her residence by her caretaker. There was no signs of foul play. The decedent appears to have passed from natural causes. Official cause of death is pending an autopsy.

On Friday, December 23, 2016 at approximately 11:59pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim 1 and suspect were involved in a verbal argument. During the argument the suspect began punching holes in one of the walls and battered victim 1. Victim 2 attempted to intervene and was battered by the suspect. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
