Suspect: Nidia Galindo-Coronado- 31- Santa Fe, NM
Charges: DWI
Deputies observed a Jeep SUV parked on the shoulder of the northbound lane of the Frontage Rd. near Mile Marker 172. When a deputy approached the vehicle he observed Ms. Galindo-Coronado move from the driver’s seat to the passenger’s seat. Upon contact Ms. Galindo-Coronado was observed to have bloodshot watery eyes and slurred speech. Ms. Galindo-Coronado stated she did not know where she was at and that a friend “John” and driven her there and told her to wait in the vehicle. Ms. Galindo-Coronado showed signs of impairment on the Field Sobriety Tests and was given an Intoxilyzer Test with the results being .12 and .13.
Ms. Galindo-Coronado was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the charge of DWI.

Pojoaque Tribal Police conducted a welfare check on a vehicle in the Cities of Gold Parking Lot. They observed Martinez asleep in the vehicle with a small tin in his lap that contained Heroin. Upon questioning the suspect admitted that the substance was indeed Heroin. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge.
When the driver of the vehicle (Pena) came out of the casino she was checked and found to have two (2) outstanding warrants. She was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the warrants.

On 12-08-16 the victim reported the above two laptops taken from the Turquoise Trail Elementary School. The laptops were kept in the IT room at the time of theft. The theft occurred during the Thanksgiving break. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Location: Jerry Hatchet Lane (Northern Santa Fe County)
Arrested: John Yanes, 36-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 12-07-16 at about 7:45pm the Sheriff's Office received a call of a reckless driver, a white Chevy truck in the area of Jerry Hatchet Lane. Deputies located the truck and the driver, Mr. Yanes a short time later. Mr. Yanes displayed signs of intoxication and a DWI investigation was conducted. Mr. Yanes was subsequently arrested for a felony DWI. His breath test results were over twice the legal limit and he had more then 4 prior DWI arrests.
