Property Taken: Miscellaneous men's gold jewelry 

 

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to the victims home in reference to a Larceny.  Upon arrival, the victim explained that he had a cousin help him move some furniture to the second story of his home.  During that time, his cousins girlfriend was left unattended inside the bedroom where his jewelry was kept inside a dresser.  A short time later the victim discovered his jewelry missing.  The case is currently under investigation.

Location: US-84-185 – 175 Mile Marker

Suspect: Jose Martinez-Arellano - 22 – Espanola - NM

Charges: DWI – Careless Driving – Driver to be licensed

Narrative: Suspect was traveling Southbound on US-84/285 when he lost control of his vehicle, spun around 180 degrees and impacted a cable guardrail.  Suspect showed signs of impairment on the Field Sobriety Tests.  The suspect was given an Intoxilyzer Test with the results being a .10

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

 


Case#: 0216018804, Auto Burgalry, Larceny 12/6/16

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the victims home in reference to an auto burglary.  Upon speaking with the victim, it was learned that an unknown person(s) unlawfully entered and some checks were taken from the inside of the vehicle.  No suspect information is available at this time.

Property Taken: Miscellaneous hand and power tools valued at $400.00 dollars

 

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to the victims home in reference to an auto burglary.  Upon the deputy's arrival, it was learned that sometime between the hours of 10:00 PM, on December 5th, 2016 and 6:30AM, the following day his vehicle was unlawfully entered.  The unknown person(s) stole the above listed property and left the area.  No suspect information is available at this time.  

 


0216018652 - Aggravated DWI - 12-03-16

Location: US-84/285 – East Frontage Road

Suspect: Miguel Martinez-Juarez – 31- Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated DWI – Careless Driving – Open Container

On the above date driver was traveling south bound on the Cuyamungue Bridge when he struck a guard rail. Suspect gathered the parts from his vehicle and continued on east frontage road before stopping in front of Gabriel’s restaurant and began to change his flat tire. Deputies located the driver and upon speaking with him observed signs of impairment.

Driver refused to do SFST’s but agreed to a breath test, results were .15, .16. Driver was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated, DWI, Carless driving, open container and Driver to be licensed.  

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).


0216018795 / Aggravated fleeing law enforcement, recovered stolen vehicle / 12-06-16

Location: San Ysidro Crossing/West Alameda

Vehicle 2006 Toyota Camry

On 12-06-16 at about 3:00am Deputies located a vehicle that had just been stolen out of the Santa Fe City Limits.  A short vehicle pursuit ensued.  The driver and passenger abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.  The investigation is ongoing. 


0216018792 / Battery against a household member / 12-05-16

Location: 2 Vista Del Monte (Allsup's)

Arrested: Paola ARteaga, 20-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 12-05-16 at about 10:30PM the defendant struck a family member in the head with a tie down strap (metal hook) during an argument.  The family member sustained a minor injury and the defendant was placed under arrest.


0216018760 / Possession of a Controlled Substance / 12-5-16

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, (Adult Detention Facility)

On the above date, Deputies were dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance.  Upon arrival it was determined the above listed inmate was found in possession of an orange film like substance consistent with suboxone.  The inmate was rebooked without further incident.


Case#: 0216018727, Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property 12/5/16

Incident Location: 3800 Block of Agua Fria

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded in reference to a stolen motor vehicle.  Deputies spoke with the owner of a Ford, F-350 flatbed work truck who advised that an unknown person(s) entered their property and found the vehicle unlocked with the key's inside. The unknown person(s) then drove the pickup truck through a fence and left the area in an unknown direction of travel.  The owner of the vehicle was contacted by some construction workers a short time later and he was advised that his vehicle was located.  The vehicle along with miscellaneous tools were recovered and returned to the owner.  No suspect information is available at this time.
