Deputies were dispatched to the area of Interstate 25 milepost 264 in reference to a possible intoxicated driver. Deputies located the vehicle which was described and observed traffic violations. Deputies initiated a traffic stop and contacted the driver. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. The driver refused to submit to chemical testing and was transported to jail where she was booked accordingly. The vehicle that the driver was operating was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5.

Above listed person was found to have illegal narcotics on her person, subject was booked accordingly.

Item Taken- 2014 Ford E350 20 foot U Haul Truck bearing AZ license plate AG37648

Above vehicle was leased on Feb 29, 2016 and was not returned.  Value of vehicle is $50,000.  Case is under investigation.

Location: Juan Medina Road and Santuario De Chimayo (Chimayo Area)

Arrested: Gloria Silva 50 yoa female Chimayo, NM

Charges: DWI, License to be carried and exhibited on demand

Deputy conducted a welfare check on a White Dodge Van honking their horn several times as the Deputy passed by the vehicle.  Deputy stopped the vehicle at the above location.  Once contact was made with the driver, driver displayed signs of impairment.  Driver admitted to consuming two beers and vodka prior to operating the vehicle.  The driver agreed to perform SFST's, at which time displayed clues of impairment.  The driver was placed under arrest and read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory.  Suspect agreed to provide breath samples, which resulted in .09/.09 respectively.  Above suspect was unable to provide the Deputy with her drivers license. The above suspect was transported and booked on the above charges without incident. 


0216004942, Criminal Damage to Property. 04.03.16

Location: State Road 106 Dream Catcher Theater

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a criminal damage to property report.  Victim reported while in the theater an unknown person keyed his 2012 Nissan.  The victim estimated the damage at about $2000.00.  No suspects have been identified and case is still under investigation. 


0216004918, Aggravated Battery against Household Member, False Imprisonment, 4/3/16

Suspect; Mark Sena  Age: 32  Santa Fe

Mark Sena was arrested for False Imprisonment, Aggravated Battery against a Household Member and Larceny after deputies responded to a domestic dispute and learned that he had taken the battery from the victim's cellphone and car keys. He then allegedly held the victim down and battered the victim by choking victim with his hands.  Victim had minor injury to the neck.  Sena was book accordingly.

Location: State Road 41 Mile Marker 59

Deceased: 25yoa Female, Galisteo NM

Saturday, April 2nd at approximately 2244hrs Deputies responded to a single motor vehicle crash on State Road 41 North of Galisteo NM.  The sole occupant of the vehicle was ejected as a result of the crash and passed away on scene.  No alcohol is suspected at this time.  


0216004894, Kidnapping, Robbery, Unlawful Taking of a MV 04.02.16

Location: B Anaya Road, Stanley, NM

Arrested William York, Age 30, Stanley, NM

Deputies responded to the Smith's in Edgewood in regards to a kidnappiing.  Depuites learned while the victim was providing a ride to the above suspect. The suspect choked the victim, which caused him to crash. The suspect tied the victim up with a rope and removed his wallet and cellphone.  The suspect left the area in the victims vehicle, leaving the victim in the field.  Deputies later located the victim's vehicle in Edgewood and the suspect with the car.  The suspect was arrested on the above charges and booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Charges: Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On Saturday, April 2, 2016 at approximately 12:07am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking a window and removing a wallet containing a driver's license and cash. Investigation is ongoing.

Cahrges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Suboxone

On Saturday, April 2, 2016 at approximately 3:17am, Deputy was dispatched to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Inmate was observed on video in possession of Suboxone, wrapped in clear plastic as well as a homemade syringe. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
