The original call was made by Drunk-Busters. They provided the suspect’s vehicle description and plate information to Pojoaque Tribal PD. Pojoaque officers located the vehicle matching the description and plate information driving in the Buffalo Thunder parking lot. The suspect was found to be impaired and was subsequently arrested for DWI. The vehicle was seized under county ordinance no.2013-5 due to the suspect having 2 prior DWIs. Suspect provided two breath samples with results of .23, and .24 BrAc.
Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Facility

Location- Birla Court-Eldorado
Decedent: 81 year old male.
On 09-03-16 Deputies responded to an unresponsive male at the above location. Upon arrival the decedent was found in the kitchen. Santa Fe Med 80 was on scene attempting life saving techniques. However, the decedent could not be revived. The decedent did have medical history. No signs of foul play were observed.

Location: Interstate 25 mile post 264 southbound
Arrested: Margaret Lucero, 53-year-old female from Albuquerque N.M.
On 09-02-16 at about 11:30pm Ms. Lucero was traveling south on the interstate when she lost control of her vehicle causing it to roll over. Further investigation revealed she was driving while intoxicated. Deputies also located open alcoholic containers in her vehicle. She was arrested on the above charges and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

The above listed person was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and suboxone after going back to the casino to retrieve a lost purse. She was booked accordingly.

Detention staff observed a syringe on the bunk of the above listed person's cell while a cell search was being conducted. When questioned, another syringe was located under the above listed person's foot. Subject was re booked accordingly.
