On Friday, November 18, 2016 at approximately 11:51pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Suspect was found in possession of Suboxone. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

While detention staff were conducting cell searches, the above listed person was found to be in possession of a syringe and suboxone. Subject was booked accordingly.

Person Arrested- Richard Borrego 28 yo- Ojo Caliente
Above listed person was found to have marijuana and a syringe in his possession while detention staff were doing cell checks. Above listed attempted to grab the items from the detention officer. Subject was booked accordingly.

Location- 1200 Block of Old Buckman Road
Items Taken- Credit Cards, electronics valued at $765.00
Between 10:30 am and 4:40 pm, unknown suspects forced entry into a 2013 White in color Subaru Outback and took the above listed items. It was found that $400 in charges were placed on one of the stolen credit cards. Case is under investigation.

Suspect Vehicle: Silver 2 Door Saturn
On above Date Deputy Trujillo was dispatched to the above area in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival it was learned on Sunday Nov 13, 2016, the above suspect walked into the victim's residence unannounced and then left after apologizing. Victim advised suspect was seen driving by the residence again on today's date. Suspect appears to know the victim's significant other. No items were found missing from the residence.

On today's date deputies responded in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. Upon speaking with the victim, it was learned that a vehicle was loaned to the suspect and the vehicle was never returned. The vehicle was recovered by Rio Arriba County Deputies and the suspect was taken into custody. The vehicle was returned to the registered owner.

Items Taken: Electronics, Purse, Binoculars
Deputy was conducting a close patrol of Paseo Real when he located a red Jeep which appeared to have been burglarized. Victims were contacted and it was discovered between 11:45 am and 12:45 pm unknown suspects burglarized the jeep by breaking a rear window. The above items were taken from the Jeep. The case is under investigation.

Victim reported that he received a call from an unknown male claiming to be an attorney representing his grandson who had been in a motor vehicle crash. Unknown male asked for several thousand dollars and advised to obtain gift cards and call him back with the numbers. After obtaining the gift cards, a total of $3,000 in card numbers were given. Case is under investigation.

On above date Deputy was dispatched to Serena Rd. in reference to a damaged gate. Upon arrival Deputy found a damaged automatic gate with damages estimated at $1,000.00. Green transfer paint was observed on the gate. There are no witnesses or suspects at this time. Case is under investigation.
