Charges: Trafficking a Controlled Substance, to wit: Mushrooms; Trafficking a Controlled Substance, to wit: Marijuana; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Mushrooms; Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Marijuana; Speeding; No Insurance
On Thursday, May 4, 2016 at approximately 7:37pm, Deputy observed the vehicle speeding. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver. Driver could not produce proof of insurance. Indications of Marijuana were detected and driver consented to a vehicle search. Marijuana, mushrooms, drug paraphernalia, and items consistent with trafficking the controlled substances were located. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded at the tow truck impound lot.

Between 8:00 am and 7:30 pm, unknown subjects drove through a wire fence on the property and took a 2005 Black/Tan Ford F350 pickup truck bearing NM license plate HGC293. Case is under investigation.

Location: Residence on Berrendo Road
Deceased: 67-year-old male
On 05-03-16 at about 9:00pm the deceased was found lying in bed unresponsive by a family member. Paramedics were called to the scene and determined the male was deceased. There were no signs of foul play.

Charges: Burglary (Residential), Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property
On Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at approximately 10:22pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) made entry to the residence and removed televisions, a large amount of cash, video game systems, computers, and clothing from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspect: Michelle Acuna, 28, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Battery Against a Household Member, Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member
On Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at approximately 9:50pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim and suspect had been involved in a verbal argument. During the argument the suspect battered the victim and caused damage to a door at the location. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Victim did not receive any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Location Aspen Road, Edgewood, NM
Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a burglary. Upon arrival deputies learned an unknown person entered a garage at the above location. While inside the garage the unknown person removed an antique desk and a tote bag containing necklaces. The total value of the items removed was $850.00. No suspects have been identified and case is still under investigation.

Location: Chisolm Trail
Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a burglary. Upon arrival they learned between April 14th and April 24th 2016 an unknown person stole antique scones. The victim reported the value of the items removed at $4000.00. No suspects have been identified and case is still under investigation.

Location: State Road 599 Mile Marker 5
Arrested: George Price, age 63 Los Alamos, NM
Deputies responded to a reckeless driver on State Road 599. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, as the vehicle was unable to maintain the lane of travel. Upon speaking with the driver it was learned the driver had taken medication, prior to operating his vehicle. SFST's were administered and the driver showed signs of impairment. He was arressted and a blood draw was taken. He was booked into ADC, without incident.

Location: Private residence – Eldorado area
Victim: 66 Year old female
Victim stated that she received e-mails from two companies that claimed she owed them $ 147.00 and $ 6,042.00 for unknown items that she never purchased.
The victim claimed that she is not familiar with either of the companies and that they are attempting to defraud her.
0216006504 - Unattended Death - 05-02-16

Location: Private residence - Vista Del Monte
Victim: 61 Year old male
On 05-02-16 deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive male. Deputies arrived on scene and began life saving measures. When Medics arrived they took over care of the victim but were unable to revive him.
There were no indications of foul play.
Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) believes the death to be cardiac related.
