Arrested: John Yanes, 36-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 12-07-16 at about 7:45pm the Sheriff's Office received a call of a reckless driver, a white Chevy truck in the area of Jerry Hatchet Lane. Deputies located the truck and the driver, Mr. Yanes a short time later. Mr. Yanes displayed signs of intoxication and a DWI investigation was conducted. Mr. Yanes was subsequently arrested for a felony DWI. His breath test results were over twice the legal limit and he had more then 4 prior DWI arrests.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to the victims home in reference to a Larceny. Upon arrival, the victim explained that he had a cousin help him move some furniture to the second story of his home. During that time, his cousins girlfriend was left unattended inside the bedroom where his jewelry was kept inside a dresser. A short time later the victim discovered his jewelry missing. The case is currently under investigation.
