Victim stated he recieved payment via check and deposited it. Victim stated a few days later, he had been notified that the check was not valid. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Marcos Cerda, 31-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 05-17-16 at about 10:00pm Mr. Cerda battered a family member while they were engaged in an argument. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: Black leather purse with misc. contents valued at $2,200.00
On 5-17-16 at about 10:30pm the victim forgot her purse between two slot machines. A few minutes later two males took her purse and left the casino in a grey Mercedes vehicle.

Victim reported to Deputies that today between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. unknown persons cut a lock securing his bicycle and stole it from his yard. The victim stated that he and his family did observe a male off in the distance carrying multiple bikes away from the area but did not see where he had disappeared to. Victim stated the bike was valued more than $500.00. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Arnulfo Pavon, 37 yoa male, Santa Fe NM
Charges: Possession of controlled substance to wit: cocaine
Casino security found the above male in the casino bathroom in possession of a white powdery substance. The above male was detained by Pojoaque Tribal Police and they contacted the Sheriff's Office. The above male admitted to being in possession of the white powdery substance and stated it was "Cocaine". He was placed under arrest and booked on the above charges without further incident.

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to an auto burglary. Upon arrival deputies learned an unknown person had entered a truck parked in the driveway. Deputies learned no items were removed from the truck, but the unknown suspect had rummaged through the vehicle. No suspects have been identified and case is still under investigation.
