Charges: DWI (Aggravated), Open Container, No Insurance
On Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 1:26am, Deputy stopped the vehicle for going an unsafe slow speed. Vehicle was driven by the suspect, who showed signs of impairment. Suspect refused to submit to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest for DWI. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and refused to submit to chemical testing. An open container of an alcoholic beverage was located inside the vehicle. Suspect was also not able to provide proof that the vehicle is insured. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to a minor vehicle crash. Upon arrival contact was made with the suspect who had rear ended another vehicle. The suspect was intoxicated and submitted to SFST's. The suspect showed signs of impairment and was arrested. A breath test revealed a .12 BRAC. The suspect was taken to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.
