Deputies conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver, who showed signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and the passengers were released to a relative, after the proper actions were taken. The driver was booked accordingly at SFADC.

EMS was on scene when deputies arrived and advised patient was beyond medical intervention.Deputies conducted an investigation and determined foul play was not suspected. The Office of the Medical Investigator was requested to the scene, the deceased was transported by a local funeral home.

Contact was made with the victim, who reported he was scammed into sending 20,000.00 dollars to an individual he meet on WhatsApp. The victim advised after noticing a pattern of suspicious activity he realized he was being scammed and reported the incident. Deputies obtained all the suspect information; the case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a burglary. Deputies were advised sometime between 06/27/2025 and 06/29/2025 unknown suspect(s) entered a storage closet, located on the exterior of the residence, and stole various candy making equipment. There is no suspect information at this time.
