Stolen: US Currency

   On Saturday March 14, 2015 Santa Fe Sheriffs Deputies responded to the area of Ogo Wii in Pojoaque, NM in reference to a reported burglary. Santa Fe Deputies arrived and made contact with the complainant / victim. The complainant reported sometime in the morning on  03/14/15 suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the complainants vehicle. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took the complainants money from within the vehicle. This case remains under investigation.


Case#:0215003670/Driving while suspended/revoked license/Date: 03-13-2015

Location: US 84/285 at 176 Mile Marker Exit Ramp (Pojoaque Area)

Arrested: Michael Tafoya 25 yoa male, Dulce NM

Charges: Driving while suspended/revoked, Roadways lane for traffic, and License to be exibited on demand

Deputy observed a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Siliver in color traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on US 84/285 at MM 175.  Deputy then observed the vehicle merge into the off-ramp to exit US 84/285, but then quickly merged back into the northbound lanes of traffic passing another vehicle in the process.  A traffic stop was then conducted and driver was found to have a suspended/revoked license pursuant to the arrest clause 122G.  Driver was arrested and booked without further incident into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  The vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5, where it was taken to the Santa Fe County Seizure Lot.

Location: 6151 Airport Road, Santa Fe, NM (Country Club Gardens Area)

Stolen: Various pieces of gold, silver jewelry, precious stones and Iphone 5 estimated value: $3,950.00

Victim reports unknown persons stole the above items from the above location.  Victim stated she noticed the items missing sometime between the dates of March 11, 2015 through March 13, 2015.  There were no signs of forced entry.  Case pending further investigation. 


Case #0215003673, Unauthorized Graffiti

Deputy Assigned: T. Lopez

Location: Bisbee Court, Santa Fe, NM

On Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1:35 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to Unauthorized Graffiti on Personal or Real Property. Reporting party advised that an unknown suspect(s) painted large letters at two seperate locations on the building. Damage was caused to two walls and a table. Damage is estimated to be more than $1000.

Location: RV park off Old Las Vegas Highway

Arrested: Elizabeth Agee, 25-year-old female from Boulder Colorado

On 03-12-15 Ms. Agee was involved in an altercation with a family member which escalated to Ms. Agee slapping the victim across the face. She was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Location: San Tierra Apartments off Camino Juliana

Arrested: Abraham Cardoza-Ponce, 23-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 03-12-15 at approximately 7:50PM Mr. Cardoza-Ponce broke into his ex-girlfriend's apartment while she was inside by punching and breaking a window.  He entered the apartment and searched the interior looking for a male inside the residence but his ex-girlfriend was alone. He fled prior to Deputies arrival and was located a short time later at another apartment where he was placed under arrest.

Victim: Location to Location Business, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Ricky Archuleta, 29, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Larceny, Recieving stolen property

On Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 12:00 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to a Larceny. It was reported that over night someone had taken several rolls of wires from the location. Contact was made with the suspect who was found in possession of some of the wire rolls. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.


0215003585 / Driving while license is revoked / 3-11-2015

Location: Santa Fe County Road 73    (Tesuque area)   Santa Fe,NM

Arrested: Brian Jagles        Age: 47         Santa Fe,NM

Deputy initiated a traffic stop with the above listed person after observing a traffic violation. Deputy contacted the driver and while issuing the citation for the violation, the Deputy learned that the driver was operating the vehicle while license was revoked with the arrest clause. The driver's vehicle was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County seizure ordinance 2006-5. The subject was arrested and transported to jail.

Location: 35 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe

Arrested: Sena, Anthony D, age 34, Santa Fe NM

The above wanted male was taken into custody on active an warrant for arson. Suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.


Case #0215003556 - False Imprisonment - 3/10/15

Deputy Assigned: Deputy Chris Zook

Location: Nelson Loop - Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Carl Archuleta - age 45, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to a possible overdose at the above location. They arrived to find no overdose, but the above subject pushing his wife and holding down his mother against her will. He was arrested without incident and booked into ADC accordingly.
