Stolen: House hold items

   Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address at the Pojoaque Terrace Mobile Home Park in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who stated betweeen July 01, 2015 and todays date suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims shed and took household items from within the shed. This case remains under investigation.


Case #0215010111, Burglary (Commercial)

Location: 100 block of Caja Del Rio, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Burglary (Commercial), Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 8:07 AM, Deputy responded to location in reference to a commercial burglary. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the building by breaking a window, forced open a donation box and cash drawers and removed approximately $240 in cash from the building. Investigation is ongoing.


0215010104 / Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving / 07-02-15

Deputy assigned: V. Ontiveros

Location: US 84/285 north at mile post 179

Arrested: Kenneth Trujillo, 22-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 07-02-15 at approximately 3:00AM Mr. Trujillo was involved in a motor vehicle crash on US 84/285.  The investigation revealed he was driving his white in color Acura in a careless manner and struck a Ford truck from behind.  He was found to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested.  Breat test results showed a breath alcohol concentration of over twice the legal limit. 


0215010072 / Aggravated DWI, Possession of a controlled substance, careless driving / 07-01-15

Location: 68 Mejor Lado, Santa Fe, NM, 87507 (Eldorado area)

Arrested: Crescencio Rivera 60 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87505

  Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported crash in the area of 68 Mejor Lado. Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies arrived and made contact with the driver identified as Crescencio Rivera. The driver admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. Field sobriety tests were given at which time the driver showed signs of impairment. The driver was arrest at which time a narcotic was located in his possession. The driver was transported to the Santa Fe Sheriff's Office where he was given a breath test. The drivers results were above a .16 and was charged with Aggravated DWI. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Victim: Female, 83, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:58 AM, Deputy responded to location in reference to a theft of identity. An unknown suspect(s) used the victim's personal information to attempt to obtain credit cards and loans. None of the credit cards or loans were obtained. Investigation is ongoing.

Victim: Female, 60, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:33 AM, Deputy responded to location in reference to theft of identity. An unknown suspect(s) used the victim's personal information to file for federal and state of Maryland income taxes in 2014. Investigation is ongoing.


0215010062-Identity Theft-7-1-15

Deputy Assigned- S. Miller

Commander Entering- Cpl. York

Location- Seaton Plaza- Santa Fe

On the above date, deputy was disptached to the above area reference to an identity theft.  Upon speaking with the victim, it was found that suspects used their identity to file taxes in the state of Maryland. Case is under investigation.


Case #0215010051, Death Investigation

Deputy Assigned: D. Bingham

Location: Bosquecillo, Santa Fe, NM

Deceased: Male, 66, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 9:11 AM, Deputies responded to location in reference to a male who was unresponsive. Medics responded to location and they were not able to revive the male. The office of the medical investigator responded to the scene. At this time it appears the male died of natural causes. There were no signs of trauma.


0215010004 / Criminal Sexual Penetration, Criminal Sexual Contact, Assault Against a household member / 06-30-15

Location: North Camino Seco, Santa Fe, NM, 87532 ( Arroyo Seco area)

 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to an address on North Camino Seco in reference to a reported sexual assault. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who stated her boyfriend sexually assaulted her on June 30, 2015. The suspect was no longer on scene. Santa Fe County Detectives were called to further investigate the incident. This case remains under investigation.


Case #0215009934 Burglary 06-29-15

Location: Apache Plume Road (Old Las Vegas Hwy.)

Stolen: Numerous items of jewlery

Victim reported between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. an unknown person forced entry into a residence. Once inside the suspects stole numerous items. Case is under investigation.
