Arrested: Theresa Perea      Age: 41      Santa Fe,NM

Deputy initiated a traffic stop with a white in color Suzuki vehicle for a traffic infraction. Deputy approached the driver and identified her as the above listed person. Deputy inquired on the driver's license status and it returned revoked with the arrest clause. Above person was arrested and taken to jail. Vehicle was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County Ordinances.

Location: #28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM, 87508

  Staff at the Santa Fe County Detention Center located a suspected narcotic in a vehicle at the Detention Center  Parking Lot. The suspected narcotic was taken as evidence and was turned over to the Santa Fe Sheriff's Office. The suspected narcotic will be submitted to the crime lab. Charges are pending testing of the narcotic.

 Complainant at the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center advised several items believed to be narcotics were located at the jail. Jail staff believe suspect(s) were attempting to smuggle the narcotics into the the Jail. This case remains under investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance and learned that Joseph Martinez had threatened to batter a Household Member during a fit of rage.  He was arrested and booked without incident.

Vehicle: 2014 mazda, red/red

On May 8, 2014 Deputies stopped a red in color Mazda on State Road 503 and North Shining Sun due to the driver of the vehicle failing to dim the vehicles headlamps. During the course of the investigation it was found by Deputies that the driver of the vehicle was impaired by an intoxicant. The driver was arrested and booked into ADC .

Victim: Colle Ayre 35 yo male Moriarty NM

On May 7th 2014 Deputies responded to the residence of #9 Sun Up Trail in reference to a reported ambulance assist. Upon arrival to the residence Deputies learned that over the past couple days the suspect and the victim had been involved in an on-going argument. During this time frame the altercation turn physical when the suspect struck the victim in the face causing a minor contusion on the victims face. The Victim was seen by first responder medical personnel but later refused transport.

Damaged: Multiple signs

  Victim advised that unknown suspects spray painted graffiti over several signs of his businesses along side Interstate Road 40. This case remains under investigation.

Suspec t #3:  Juvenile Male, 17, Chimayo, NM

Charged:  Burgalry, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property, Conspiracy to Commit

                 Burglary, Tampering With Evidence

Property:  Miscellaneous jewelry, miscellaneous presciption medications, $200 cash,

                knife, 5 guitars, microphone chord

On Tuesday, May 6, 2014 btween 2:00 PM and 11:01 PM the suspects gained entry to a residence at the location utilizing an unknown type pry tool to force open the rear door.  Once entry was gained the suspects removed the property.  Deputies followed footprints to another residence and located the suspects.  All of the property was recovered except the money.  Suspect #1 was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.  Suspects #2 and #3 were booked into the Santa Fe County Juvenile Detention Center.

Arrested: Ricardo Chavez 37 years old , Santa Fe, NM, 87507

 On Tuesday May 06, 2014 the above listed suspect was located at an address on Paseo Del Pinon. The homeowner of that address had an active restraining order on the suspect. The order of protection cleary read the suspect was not to go near the petitioners property. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.

Stolen: vehicle wheels

  Victim stated sometime between March 19th and May 06th 2014 unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into his shed. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took wheels to a vehicle from within the shed. This case remains under investigation.
