Suspect: Kenny Rougemont  Age: 30  Santa Fe

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute and learned that Rougemont had battered a household member along with 2 small children causing minor injuries.  He was arrested and booked without incident.

Suspect: Cassandra Betancourt, 19, Rio Rancho, NM

Charges: Concealing Identity

On Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 10:38 PM, deputies responded to location in reference to a verbal argument between a male and a female. Suspect provided a false name and date of birth. The male with the suspect provided another name belonging to the suspect. A records check of that name revealed suspect's real name and date of birth with a photo consistent with the suspect's appearence. After obtaining suspect's real name and date of birth, suspect continued to provide a false name and date of birth. Suspect was placed under arrest and was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: I 25 East Frontage Road/State Road 599, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 1994 White Ford Pickup

Suspect: Melanie Martino, 51, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Speeding

On Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 9:58 PM, Deputy stopped the vehicle at location driven by the suspect for speeding. Suspect showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. Suspect refused to provide a chemical sample. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.


0214018288, Burglary, 11/19/14

Location: Camino de Rincon  Pojoaque

Suspect; Pending

Victim reports home entered by force through rear window and various electronics and jewelry are reported missing. 1 Macintosh lap top entered into NCIC as stolen.  Case is under investigation.

Victim:: Female, 36, Espanola, NM

Charges: Battery against a household member

On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 9:43 PM deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim and suspect were involved in a verbal argument. Argument escalated and suspect battered the victim. Victim sustained non life threatening injuries. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Victim: Male, 36, Santa Fe, NM

On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 6:49 PM, deputies responded to a residential burglary. Victim advised items were taken from the residence while they were away. No signs of forced entry were located.

Charges: Aggravated Assault

On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 6:49 PM, deputies responded to a call of a male suspect threatening a female victim with a deadly weapon. Victim was uninjured as a result of this incident. Suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Suspect: Larry Carrillo, 64, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 2005 Gray Ford Thunderbird

Charges: DWI, Careless Driving, Open Container, Negligent use of firearm

On Monday, November 17, 2014 at 6:19 PM Deputies responded to a single motor vehicle accident at location. Vehicle left the roadway and collided with a property fence at intersection. SFSTs were conducted, suspect showed signs of impairment and placed under arrest for DWI. Suspect provided a breath test. A nearly empty 12 ounce bottle of Dos Equis beer was located in the vehicle along with a 1911 handgun. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.


Case #0214018170 Missing Person 11-17-14

Deputy Assigned: Nicole Romero

Commander Entering: Cpl. Edward Webb Jr.

Missing: Carlos Quintana 61 yoa male 2700 Block of Boylan lane (Santa Fe NM )

Caretaker of missing stated Mr. Quintana had left the residence at about 10:00 am. Caretaker advised Mr. Quintana was upset because he wanted to return to his hometown of Las Vegas NM.  At this time missing has not been located and has a history of seizures, dementia, and a silver alert was issued.


Case #0214018171 Burglary 11-17-14

Location: 100 block of Camino Del Rincon (Pojoaque)

Items taken: 30" television, Electric Space Heater

Victim advised between the hours of 8:00 am and 7:15 pm an unknown person forced entry into their residence and stole the above listed items. Case is under investigation.
