Arrested: James Valdez, 24-year-old male from Espanola N.M.
On 04-22-15 about 12:45AM Deputies responded to a disturbance call at the San Tierra apartment complex. Upon arrival Contact was made with the defendant who was causing a disturbance. While attempting to take him into custody he battered two Deputies and fled on foot. He was eventually located hiding in the area and taken into custody.

The victim reported on April 21st between the hours of 7:45AM and 3:00PM someone entered their home through the front door and stole 3 televisions.

Stolen: IPhone, Valentine radar and a coin purse with loose change.
The victim reported on Monday April 20th between 12:00AM and 4:00AM someone entered their Jeep Cherokee and stole the above items. There were no signs of forced entry however the victim stated they had locked their vehicle.

Victim reported to Deputy that he had been contacted by a out of state business claiming that the victim owed money for services rendered. Victim stated he had never dealt with the company that called him and notified Law Enforcement. Case is under investigation.

Stolen: 6 Wheel Barrows, and Bosh Jack Hammer Estimated Value: $4,200.00
Victim reports unknown person(s) gained unlawful entry into a trailer storing the above items. Entry was gained sometime between April 20, 2015 at 6pm and April 21, 2015 at 6am by cutting the pad lock on the trailer. A chainlink fence surrounding the property was also cut to gain access into the premises. Total estimated value of damage $150.00. Case still pending further investigation.

Stolen/ Recovered: 2006 White and Brown F150 Pick Truck Estimated Value: 12,000.00
Victim reports between the April 19th, 2015 at 4:00pm and April 20th, 2015 at 8:00am unknown person(s) gained unlawful forced entry into the above residence. Entry was gained by removing a rear window. Once inside the keys to the above vehicle was taken, and the vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was later found on SR 599 and Ridgetop Road, where it appeared it had been involved in motor vehicle collision. Case still pending further investion.

Victim reported that sometime on April 9th 2015 an unknown person entered a shed on their property. Once inside the shed the suspect(s) stole several handtools. investigation is on-going.

Arrested: Genevieve Gallegos, 36-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.
On 04-20-15 while conducting a unit check a correctional officer observed the defendant (inmate) holding a small clear bag with a crystal like substance. The bag was confiscated and discovered to be suspected meth. The Sheriff's Office responded and conducted a drug field test on substance, which tested positive for meth. The defendant was booked on the above charge.
