Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a counterfeit $5.00 bill that was being used at the casino. Contact was made with the individual that was attempting to use the bill but she was not aware that the bill was counterfeit. The $5.00 bill was confiscated and will be placed into evidence. It is unknown when and where the bill was created and how long it has been in circulation. This case is currently under investigation.

Arrested: Melissa Trujillo. 40 years of age, Santa Fe, NM 87507
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the above driver for traffic infractions. Contact was made with the driver and a smell of an alocoholic beverage was emitting from her expelled breath. Tests were administered and the driver showed signs of impairment. The driver was subsequently charged and booked accordingly without incident.

Victim reports home entered through kitchen window and various electronics including a small amount of cash is reported missing. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Rio Lucero, 36 years of age, Pena Blanca, New Mexico 87041
The above listed subject was observed operating a motorvehicle when the vehicle left the roadway. A traffic stop was attempted and the subject/vehicle fled (Did not yield to emergency equipment). The vehicle became trapped in a driveway and deputies made contact with the driver. The driver had an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and showed signs of impairement. A warrant was secured for the drivers blood and he was subsequently arrested on the above charges.

Joshua Chavez, 22 years of age, Santa Fe, NM 87505
Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Adult Detetion Facility in refrece to a battery call. Through investigation, it was determined that two inmates battered another inmate causing temporary disfigurement to the face. The above listed subject(s) were arrested on the above charges and was re-booked accordingly.

On Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 2:22 PM, Deputies responded to location to conduct a welfare check. It was discovered the male resident was on the floor unresponsive. Deputies entered the residence to render aide. The male was found on the floor unresponsive with no signs of life. The Office of the Medical Investigator was notified and responded to the scene. Next of kin was notified. There were no signs of foul play at location.

On Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 3:30 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to theft of identity. Victim recently discovered an unknown suspect has used his personal information to open accounts in his name.
Case #0215001798, Battery against a household member

Victim: Female, 40, Santa Fe, NM
Suspect: Robert Deyapp, 48, Santa Fe, NM
On Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 12:27 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic disturbance. At location both suspect and victim were involved in a verbal argument. The argument escalated into a physical altercation where the suspect battered the victim. Suspect also had a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Victim did not suffer from any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Stolen: several power and hand tools including a Delta planer, wire welder and helmet, Makita grinder, framing nail gun, Dewalt sawzall and misc. hand tools. Total value of $4,000
On 02-05-15 the victim reported sometime between February 3rd and February 5th someone cut the lock off his storage shed and stole the above listed property.
