Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputy Garcia conducted a traffic stop on Us 84/285 after an observed traffic violation. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the drivers license was revoked, arrest pursuant. The driver was arrested without incident and booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Deputies responded to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center in regards to an inmate found with narcotics. The suspected admitted holding the suspected narcotic, a white powdery substance for another inmate. The suspect was rebooked on the above charges.

On Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 6:46 PM, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by prying open a door causing damage to the door and removed rugs, household appliances, electronic items, clothing, and vehicle equipment. Investigation is ongoing.

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Detention Center in reference to a reported inmate that was found in possession of a suspected narcotic. Staff at the jail stated the inmate was booked at which time a search was conducted, during the search a suspected narcotic was located. Evidence was obtained that showed the above suspect intended on selling the item which did not appear to be a narcotic upon further inspection. The item will be taken for further testing. The above inmate was charged accordingly.

Contact was made with the victim who stated between June 03, 2015 and June 10, 2015 unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the vicitms home, once entry was gained suspect(s) rummaged through the home but it does not appear anything was taken at this time. This case remains under investigation.

Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to an inmate found in possesion of a controlled substance. Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on scene and were given the suspected narcotics. Staff advised that the suspected narcotic was located on the above listed suspect during a search. The narcotic was taken for evidence and will be submitted for further testing. The inmate was charged and re-booked.

On 06-09-15 the above individual was transported from the Torrance County Detention Center to the Santa Fe County Detention Center on an outstanding warrant. The above individual was found to be concealing a small baggy with a crystal rock substance on her person. The substance was identified as methamphetamine. The above individual was booked accordingly on the above charges.

On 06-09-15 the above defendant's husband was arrested for DWI at the above location. The above defendant showed up at the scene of the arrest driving a 2005 Pontiac G6 and was also found to be driving under the influence of alcoohol. She was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On today's date, the above vehicle was stopped for a traffic infraction, speeding and upon contact with the driver (Listed above), an odor of an intoxicating beverage emitted from the drivers expelled breath. The driver admitted to consuming more than one alcoholic beverage prior to operating his vehicle and signs of impairment were noted during the investigation. The driver was placed under arrest and it was learned that he did not possess a valid drivers license or valid insurance for the vehicle. The driver was booked accordingly without incident.
