Victim: Male, 62, Lamy, NM

On Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:59 PM, Deputies responded to an unresponsive male. Male had not been in touch with friends since yesterday and friends had found him unresponsive. The Office of the Medical Examiner was notified and responded to the scene. There was no indications of foul play. Next of kin has been notified.


Case#:0215000492/Battery on a Household Member/Date: 01-10-15

Location: North View Trail, Edgewood, NM (Edgewood Area)

Arrested: Ray Brown 25 yoa male, Edgewood NM

Charges: Battery on a Household Member, and Interference with Communications

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a 911 hang up.  Upon Deputies arrival it was found that the above suspect had gotten into a verbal altercation with his parents.  Victim stated the suspect grabbed him by the neck and threw him to the ground.  An attempt to call 911 was unsuccessful when the suspect pulled the phone wiring out of the wall during the 911 call.  The above suspect was arrested and booked on the above charges without further incident. 


Case#: 0215000411/Battery against a household member/Date: 01-10-2015

Deputy Assigned: Deputy Lawrence Martinez

Location: Vargas Court, Santa Fe, NM (I-25 East Frontage Road area)

Arrested: Adam Urrea, 24 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery on a Household member, and service of documents

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at the above location.  Victim reports boyfriend the above subject pushed, grabbed her neck, and hit her approximately 5 times on the head after an arguement.  Suspect was arrested for the battery against a household member and found to have an outstanding warrant out of Lincoln County for another charge.  He was booked and charged accordingly on the above charges without further incident. 


Case# 0215000409 Aggravated DWI

Location:  Rael Lane at Camino Montoya, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  White, 2015, Kia 4 door

Suspect:  Leroy M. Montoya, 20, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility

On Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2:14 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle southeast at the location when he went through the intersection and struck a dirt embankment.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater.

Location:  Old las Vegas Highway at Arroyo Hondo Road, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Gray, 2011, Subaru, Stationwagon

Suspect:  Sally A. Denton, 61, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic, Failure to Dim Lights

On Friday, January 9, 2015 at 8:16 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and failed to dim her headlamps upon the approach of on coming traffic.  The suspect was also unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater.


0215000347 / Driving while license is revoked / 1-08-2015

Deputy Assigned: Robert Girmendonk

Commander Entering: Sgt. Michael Martinez

Location: US 84/ 285 / NM State Road 106

Arrested: Louie Maes      Age: 60     Santa Fe,NM

Deputy initiated a traffic stop with the above vehicle after Deputy verified the driver was operating the vehicle while his license was revoked with the arrest clause. Driver was arrested and taken to jail. Vehicle was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance.


0215000335 / Burglary / 1-08-2015

Deputy Assigned: Jonathan Jaramillo

Location:  Perro Canyon     Madrid, NM

Items Stolen: US Currency, Electronics

Deputies were dispatched to the area of this location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrrival in the area a home was found to have been burglarized. Victim reported that unknown persons forced entry into the home and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.


Case #0215000340 Burglary 01-08-15

Location: Calle Lazo Errante (Airport Road area) Santa Fe NM

On January 8th,2015 an unknown person entered the victims residence by forcing entry through the front door. Once inside suspect(s) stole a television. Investigation is on-going.

Location: 5000 block of Agua Fria St. Santa Fe, NM 87507 (Santa Fe Youth Shelter)

Missing: Elena Lopez, 15 years of age, Espanola, NM 87532

5'00 tall, 149 lbs, wearing a black sweater and black pants, a "Butterfly" tattoo on her right chest and "505" tattoed on her nleft bicep. 

The above listed juvenile ranaway from the above listed location on Wednesday January 7, 2015 between 8:30pm and 9:00pm. The area was checked but the juvenile was not located. The juvenile was entered into NCIC and this case is actively being investigated.


Case #0215000309, Robbery

Location: 2700 block of Aspen Loop, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 56, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at 11:18 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to a robbery. Victim advised she had arrived home and an unidentified male took her keys to her vehicle and demanded her money. Victim gave the suspect her cash, then suspect gave back her keys and fled the area. Victim had purchased an item at a local gas station and is believed to have been followed from the gas station by the suspect to her residence. Suspect has not been identified at this time.
