Location: Residence off Toro Lane, Santa Fe NM
On 07-02-14 at about 7:00AM the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an 80-year-old male found in his residence by family members, not concioous or breathing. He was pronounced deceased on scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator and no signs of foul play were detected. He had several medical issues.

Arrested: Leonardo Pena - age 34, El Rancho
Deputies responded to a 911 hang up and found a domestic dispute had occurred. The victim reported being battered and held against her will. She was transported to the hospital on suspicion of a broken nose. Deputies attempted to arrest the suspect and he resisted. During the arrest, the suspect struck a deputy and attempted to stike another. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

Arrested: Eli Martinez - age 42, Espanola, NM
Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash. The driver was found to be impaired and was placed under arrest. He submitted to a breath test and the results were .11 and .10 BrAC. He was booked into the Adult Detention Center accordingly.

Victim reported to Deputy that sometime in 2013 an unknown male assaulted her while he was at her home. Victim stated this took place on several occassions at the same location. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Flaymon Sandoval 26 yo male Santa Fe

On July 1, 2014 Deputies responded to 28 Camino Justicia in reference to an inmate found in possession of narcotics. Upon arrival Deputies learned that an individual identified as Flaymon Sandoval was searched during which time several hypodermic syringes were located on his person. After locating these items an extensive search was conducted. Upon completion of the search numerous pills were located in the inmates body cavity. The inmate was charged and re-booked

Stolen: Self Standing Fan
A self standing fan was stolen from a Santa Fe County fire truck, while on a call for service at the above location.. The fan was valued at about $2,000.00. Case is still under investigation.

Arrested: Mariano Romero 21 years of age, Santa Fe, NM, 87501
On Tuesday July 01, 2014 a Santa Fe Sheriff Deputy resonded to SFADC in reference to a reported inmate found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Contact was made with jail staff who advised that they found the above listed inmate in possession of a controlled substance. The substance was collected as evidence and will be taken for further testing. The inmate was charged accordingly.

On Tuesday July 01, 2014 The Santa Fe Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Riverside Mobile Home Park in reference to a reported 28 year old male subject that was not breathing. Contact was made with the subject. Santa Fe Medics arrived on scene but did not find any signs of life. initial observations did not show any signs of foul play. Investigations was called to investigate the incident.

Arrested: Dennis Freaney - age 71, San Antonio, TX
The above driver was stopped for failing to maintain his lane. During contact with the driver, the deputy observed signs of impairment and placed the driver under arrest. Driver submitted to a breath test and blood draw.
