  Victim reported that unknown suspects forced entry into his home between 7:15 am and 3:15 pm on April 28, 2014. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took various electronics from the home. All victims were not home at the time of the report and it is believed that more items were stolen. This case remains under investigation.


0214006274 Burglary (auto)

Location: west Gutierrez St (Pojoaque area)

Stolen: Apple I-pad, flashlight, spider co knife 6'' folding

Victim reported on the above date the victim reported his 1994 Honda Accord was burglarized while parked unattended in the parking lot. The burglary occurred between April 27, 2014 at approximately 8:00 a.m. and April 28. 2014 9:31 a.m.. The unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicle which was unsecure and stole the above items that were in a backpack.

The above listed items stolen were valued at about $985.00


0214006273 Burglary (auto)

Location: Bisbee Court (Rancho Viejo/Hwy 14 area)

Stolen: red Kenwood stereo with USB and Aux hook ups

Victim reported between 4-25-14 (Friday) at 1600hrs and 4-28-14 (Monday) 0800hrs and unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the above vehicle by breaking the passenger side window. The unknown suspect(s) took the above item. During my investigation I was told by the business owner that the unknown suspect(s) went through two other vehicles that were located in the same area of the Volvo. The owner informed me nothing was taken from either vehicle and the doors were unlocked.

The above listed items stolen were valued at about $100.00

Above suspect was arrested on an active bench warrant for burglary.  Booked into ADC without incident.

Location: San Felipe and Charley Bentley, Santa Fe, NM (Agua Fria Area)

Arrested: Robert Vigil, 35 yoa, male Santa Fe, NM

Charged: Driving while license revoked

Deputies responded to the above area in reference to a Be on the Lookout (BOLO) for a reckless driver, driving a Silver in color Ford F350.  Deputy located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop to check on the drivers welfare.  Upon contact with the driver it was learned the driver had an Invaild-Revoked license with the arrest clause.  Driver also was unable to produce a vaild ignition interlock driver's license.  Driver was arrested and booked accordingly without further incident.

  Victim reported that between April 21st 2014 and April 24, 2014 unknown suspects unlawfully entered the victims shed and took various furniture from within the shed. Suspect(s) are pending at this time. This case remains under investigation.

Location: Buffalo Thunder Trail, Santa Fe, NM 87507 (Buffalo Thunder Resort Area)

Arrested: Leroy Chacon, 38 yoa male, Alcalde, NM

Charges: Battery against a household member

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic.  Victim reports the above suspect and her got into a verbal argument that turned physical.  During the altercation the victim was bitten on the left forearm and was pulled by the hair by the above suspect.  Victim had a visible bite mark on the forearm with swelling.  The above suspect was arrested and booked accordingly on the above charges without further incident.

Victim advised someone had filed a tax return utilizing victims social security number somewhere in the State of Texas. Case is pending further investigation.

Charges: Agg. Battery on a household member

Arrested: Juan Mercado 39 yoa male

Victim reported to Deputies that her husband Mr. Juan Mercado struck her in the face and mouth. Victim had injuries consistent with her statement. Suspect was located and arrested without incident.

 


Case#: 0214006192/ Driving while license Revoked, Roadways laned for traffic, and Possession of a Controlled Substance/Date: 04-

Location: Camino Los Abuelos and Highway 14, Santa Fe, NM (Galisteo Area)

Arrested: Adan Cardenas, 32 yoa male, Galisteo, NM

Charges: Driving while license is revoked, Roadways laned for traffic, and Possession of controlled substance

Edgewood Police Officer observed a Silver in color Toyota Pick-up traveling south on State Highway 14 fail to maintain its lane of travel.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle at the above location.  Contact was made with the driver, at which time it was learned the driver had a interlock restricted driver license.  The vehicle was not equipped with the interlock system.  Deputies arrived on scene and conducted a Drivers license check through NM Motor Vehicles.  The drivers license check revealed the drivers license to be revoked with the arrest clause attached unless the vehicle operated was equipped with an interlock.  The driver was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.  A plastic zip lock bag was found on the floor board of the vehicle containing a green leafy substance.  The vehicle was seized in accordance to the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5.
