On March 1st 2014 A traffic stop was conducted by Deputies on a grey in color Ford Ranger after receiving reports of it being operated in a reckless manner. Throughout the investigation Deputy Garcia observed the operator of the vehicle display signs of impairment by an intoxicant. The operator was subsequently arrested. A blood draw was performed on the operator. Results Are Pending

Victim reported to Deputy that she recently purchased two puppies via internet. Victim stated she became suspicious after the seller requested more money for delivery. Victim stated she never recieved the puppies. Case is still under investigation.

Victim reported an unknown male stopped him while he was traveling on Frost Road near Weathersby Road. Victim stated the suspect who was driving a dark sport utility vehicle brandished a handgun while yelling at the victim about him running a stop sign. The suspect was not located in the area. Case is still under investigation.

Suspect: William McLean 22yo male Santa Fe
On February 26th 2014 Deputies pulled McLean over for careless driving on state road 599 at or about mile marker 4. During the course of the investigation Deputies found McLean to be in possession of a green leafy substance which was later confirmed to be marijuana. McLean was administered standardized field sobriety test and subsequently found to be impaired by an intoxicant. McLean was not in possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of arrest. McLean was administered a legal blood draw. Results of the blood draw are pending.

Deputies responded to a Domestic Disturbance and learned that Daniel Montano had battered a household member causing minor injury. He was arrested and booked accordingly.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
On Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:13 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and failed to stop for a red traffic control signal. When given a command to stop the suspect ignored the command and continued to the West Frontage Road at which time he then exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The suspect was subsequently located a short time later on State Road 599. The suspect's new Mexico Driver's License is suspended. The vehicle's registration expired December 31, 2013. There was an open bottel of vodka between the front seats. There was a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana and a glass type smoking device on the left rear floorboard of the vehicle.

On Tuesday February 25 ,2014 victim reported at about 1:00 pm while his vehicle was parked on the side of the interstate unknown person(s) gained entry through the passenger side window and proceeded to take several pieces of equipment used for surveying. No suspects have been identified.
