 Victim advised that inbetween the hours of 5:30pm and 6:00pm, she heard a gunshot in the area. Upon further inspection the victim discovered a bullet sized hole in her home. This case remains under investigation.

On this date Deputies were dispatched to the listed area in reference to a deceased. Upon Deputy arrival, the victim was located in a vehicle at the location. There was no signs of foul play suspected, Case is under investigation.

Stolen: Various pieces of scrap metal and 10 tin crates Total Estimated Value: $1000.00

Victim reported a burglary in progess at approximately 10:15 p.m. at the above location.  Victim reports he observed two unidentified males loading the above items into a brown in color pick-up.  Deputies checked the area with no result of said vehicle with the stolen items.  Case still pending further investigation.


Case#: 0214000920/DUI, Open container of alcoholic beverage, Stop sign violation/Date: 01-18-2014

Location: State Road 14 and State Road 333, Edgewood, NM (Edgewood Area)

Arrested: Lynn Hill 25 yoa male, Tijeras, NM

Charges: Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, Open Container of alcoholic beverage, and Stop sign violation

Deputy observed a White in color Mini Cooper at the above location fail to stop at a posted stop sign.  Deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.  Upon contact driver had an odor of intoxicating liquor was emitting from her person.  Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted where driver displayed signs of impairment.  Driver was arrested and read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory, at which time agreed to a breath test.  Breath test revealed a BrAC of .13/ .12.  During inventory of the vehicle three open 12oz beer containers were located with contents partially removed.  Driver was arrested and booked accordingly without further incident.
