On Tuesday, May 6, 2014 btween 2:00 PM and 11:01 PM the suspects gained entry to a residence at the location utilizing an unknown type pry tool to force open the rear door. Once entry was gained the suspects removed the property. Deputies followed footprints to another residence and located the suspects. All of the property was recovered except the money. Suspect #1 was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center. Suspects #2 and #3 were booked into the Santa Fe County Juvenile Detention Center.

On Tuesday May 06, 2014 the above listed suspect was located at an address on Paseo Del Pinon. The homeowner of that address had an active restraining order on the suspect. The order of protection cleary read the suspect was not to go near the petitioners property. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.

Victim stated sometime between March 19th and May 06th 2014 unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into his shed. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took wheels to a vehicle from within the shed. This case remains under investigation.

On Monday, May 5, 2014 at 7:25 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle east at the location when he entered an Operational DWI Check Point. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.

On May 4th 2014 Deputies responded to the residence located at 4212 Roadrunner Ln. in reference to a burglary that had occurred. During the course of the investigation Deputies learned that on this date a suspect who was identified by the victim as Nick Valdez entered their residence(garage) through an open exterior garage door. While in the garage Valdez removed numerous items belonging to the victim. While removing the items Woods was confronted by the victim at which time Valdez fled leaving several items behind. A tip subsequently was received on the location of the suspect at which time the suspect was apprehended. The suspect was booked according into the Adult Detention Center.

Suspect. Hispanic male 5'8" to 5'10" 200 lbs to 220 lbs bald.
Suspect Vehicle: Faded Green Nissan Pickup 80's to early 90's model.
Victim reported his residence was entered through an unlocked front door. Once inside the suspect stole the above listed item. During the commision of the burglary the victim's grandfather, who also resides in the residence, walked into the living room and observed the suspect standing in the front door way. The suspect than ran from the residence to a faded green Nissan pickup and left the area.

Deputy was dispatched to The Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in regards to an inmate breaking a window. The inmate admitted to breaking the window after stating that he was locked in a walk in freezer. It was found that the door was working properly with no defects to it. Subject was rebooked for Criminal damage to property.
