Charged:  Abandonment of a child

On 8/5/13 deputy was dispatched to above area in reference to a 911 hang up call.  While deputy was speaking to the residents at apartment 1011 regarding the 911, deputy observed the front door to 1012 wide open.  A small child was seen running and crying inside the residence.  No one else was home.  The mother/suspect arrived about an hour later stating that she went for an interview and the child was being watched by his 13 year old sister and a neighbor.  The child was left alone inside the residence.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect:  Viola Moe, age 52, Espanola, NM

Charged:  Bringing Contraband into a place of imprisonment

On 8/5/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotics violation.  Contact was made with a Detention Officer who stated that they received information in reference to an inmate coming into the facility with contraband.  Upon interviewing the inmate she voluntarily removed a black balloon containing 3 strips of Suboxone and tobacco.  Suspect was rebooked and charged accordingly.

Location:  residence off of Calle Siete Casas, Santa Fe, NM (Aldea Subdivision)

On 8/5/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 8/1/13 at 6:00 p.m. and 8/2/13 at 6:30 a.m. unknown persons gained entry into his vehicle.  Victim stated unknown persons took which wallet which contained US currency, several credit cards,  his registration, and his driver's license.  Victim also stated that unknown persons took his prescription glasses.  Estimated value of items taken is $350.00.  No damage to the vehicle.

Location:  200 block of State Road 76, Santa Cruz, NM

On 8/5/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 8:40 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. unknown persons pried open the front door.  Victim stated that unknown persons took a flat screen TV, a DVD player, and misc. jewelry.  Victim stated that unknown persons broke one of the steps in the porch area.  Estimated value of items taken is $910.00.  Estimated damage amount is $25.00.

Location:  residence off of Arroyo Seco Circle, Espanola, NM (Arroyo Seco)

On 8/5/13 deputy was dispatched to above area in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. unknown persons unlawfully gained entry through the front door.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole a Playstation 3, HDMI cord, a PS3 game, a Kindle, a wallet, and misc. DVDs.  Estimated value of items taken is $425.00.

On 8/5/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 6:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on August 2, 2013 unknown persons gained entry into his vehicle and stole his wallet.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole several credit cards, a NM driver's license and a City permit license.  Estimated value of items taken is $150.00.  There was no damage to the vehicle.

Victim:  Female, 23, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Fredrick S. Ressi, 22, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery Against a Household Member, Criminal Damage to Property of a

                   Household Member

On Sunday, August 5, 2013 at 12:55 AM the vitim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect kicked the victim in the face.  The suspect also damaged electronic quipment and a vehicle belonging to the victim.  The victim sustained no visible injuries and was treated at the scene and declined any further medical attention.

Location:  residence off of Sloman Lane, Santa Fe, NM (off of Santa Fe County Rd 70)

Suspect:  Michael Madison, age 53, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Receiving or Transferrring Stolen Property

On 8/3/13 deputy responded to above location in reference an Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle.  Victim stated that between 7:50 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. unknown persons stole her 1987 gray and brown in color Jeep.  Victim valued the vehicle at $2000.00  Deputy then observed Anaya's Wrecker towing the vehicle on State Road 599 Frontage Road.  It was learned that the driver was arrested for DWI by a BLM Ranger.  The suspect was then booked accordingly with the charge of Receiving or Transferring Stolen Property.  Victim was advised that her vehicle was located.

Location: Residence on Bishops Lodge Road

Deceased: 65-year-old male friom Santa Fe N.M.

On 08-04-13 at about 9:45am a neighbor/friend found the victim deceased in his residence.  He suffered from a serious medical condition.  There were no signs of foul play and it is suspected he passed away from complications with his medical conditions.
